Sarah Pearson C-SQP, AHEA
Registered Veterinary Nurse
I have lived in Yorkshire all of my life and I've had a passion for animal care and welfare from a very young age. I started my Nurse training in 2007 and qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2010. I have also spent some time in Higher Education lecturing student Veterinary Nurses, Veterinary Care Assistants, Animal Management and Animal Care students. I have a keen interest in Nutrition and welcome any owners concerned about their animals weight to book a complimentary consultation with me to assess and tailor a diet plan suitable for your pet.
What is your favourite animal and why?
I absolutely adore Giraffes!! I have a collection of Giraffe ornaments and pictures all around the house (much to my husbands dismay!). They are so beautiful and majestic, what's not to love?!
What pets do you have and what are their names?
I have 2 cats and 1 dog all rescued from a local charity.
Stanley and Yoshi are both black and white short haired cats and each have their own little personalities which brighten up my day! Layla is a very fluffy Border Collie cross with a knack for breaking in to bins and fridges! All have been given a second chance through adoption after being rescued from various situations and I doubt they will be my last rescue pets!
What's the best pet name that you've ever come across?
What is your favourite famous animal?
Grumpy Cat! He is so grumpy he never fails to make me laugh!
