Rahul Slough JVP Vets4Pets

Rahul Shah, MRCVS

Owner and Veterinary Surgeon

After graduating from the Royal Veterinary College, London in 2002 I have worked in different practices across the length of England, from Cornwall to Yorkshire. I have become competent and confident in most veterinary skills required to treat cats, dogs and other pets including rabbits and small ‘furries’. I also have acquired some experience treating reptiles and chickens.

I have recently completed a specialist surgical certificate which taught me to undertake more complex operations. I believe that animal welfare is the most important aspect of veterinary medicine and aim to maintain a high standard of care to all clients which will enable them to give the best healthcare to their pets. To do this I work hard to keep up to date with current treatments and techniques as well as being compassionate. Outside work, I like socialising with my friends and spending time with my family. Also I love sports and try to play squash and golf (weather permitting!) when possible.

Olga V4P Slough

Olga Graczyk MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

I studied veterinary medicine in Warmia and Masuria University in Olsztyn, Poland and graduated in 2013. I completed a year of my studies and a three-month internship after graduating in Spain. Throughout my degree course I volunteered in a local animal shelter and helped to re-home dozens of animals (that's also how I got my lovely pets: my dog Borys – a German shepherd cross – and my cat Sasha – a Russian blue cross). After my internship in Spain I worked for a year in Poland in a small animal practice.

I moved to the UK in July 2014 and I'm very excited about this new episode in my career. I'm extremely passionate about my work and I'm especially interested in dermatology; a field in which I'm currently concentrating on improving my skills and knowledge. My native language is Polish and I also speak English and Spanish proficiently. Apart from working with animals I enjoy horse riding, hiking and travelling.

Slough Vets4Pets Anna

Anna Andrews

Care Assistant

In 2013 I went to a residential college in Warwickshire to study an animal nursing diploma with the idea of progressing onto a veterinary nursing course in the future. I also studied a diploma in Equine Management with a strong love for horses! I am a massive animal lover but only have room for one dog, my lovely Cockerpoo, Reo!

Slough Vets4Pets Emma Martin

Emma Martin

Student Veterinary Nurse

Emma joined us after a year at Wildlife Aid. She has been with us as a Care Assistant for a year and has now become our 2nd student veterinary nurse. At home Emma owns a variety of animals including small furries, reptiles, a dog and cats. Out of work Emma enjoys wake-boarding and spending time with family and friends.

Slough Vets4Pets Marilyn Nettleship

Marilyn Nettleship

Marilyn has spent most of her working life as a cashier, spending 16 years working in the treasury office at Gala bingo. Since 2005, Marilyn has been working in administration roles and this is her first receptionist post, which she thoroughly enjoys. Outside of work, Marilyn loves caring for her baby granddaughter, Kacie, cooking, knitting and crocheting.

Siobhan Atkinson

After having worked for several years, Siobhan decided to take a couple of years off after her son was born. Siobhan was looking for a part-time job and always wanted to work with animals and we were able to offer a job that fitted with her other commitments.  Outside work she supports Newcastle United and also is an army cadet force instructor and a special police officer. She has 4 cats, 1 rabbit and an array of fish.

Slough Vets4Pets Holly Fearnley

Holly Fearnley

Holly used to be a childminder but is now fully enjoying her new role and is looking forward to the challenges that face her.  She loves Animals and her favourite are PUPPIES! She has a white Labrador called Bacardi, and in her spare time she likes to socialise with family and friends.

Slough Vets4Pets Rebecca Underhill

Rebecca Underhill

Veterinary Care Assistant

After 11 years working within the childcare profession, Rebecca felt the need to spend more time with her 2 children, but also find a new career part time. We were able to offer Rebecca the opportunity to come and work with us with hours that suited her and her family, initially as a receptionist. Rebecca was keen to further her career in the veterinary field and moved into her new role as a Veterinary Care Assistant and is hoping to begin training as a Veterinary Nurse. Rebecca has 3 dogs: Bubbles, Gizmo and Angel, and Rory the cat. When she is not working she enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
