Stephanie Smith

Veterinary Surgeon & Joint Venture Partner

I am a Veterinary Surgeon and one of the practice partners here at Vets4Pets Sutton in Ashfield. I have worked for Vets4Pets since 2012, initially at Mansfield Vets4Pets before setting up my own practice here in Sutton in Ashfield in 2014. I have also set up a second practice in Kirkby in Ashfield in February 2017.

I enjoy all aspects of my job but I have a particular interest in small animal medicine and dermatology. I love my small furry patients especially rabbits and piggies!

I have 4 dogs (a Border Collie, two Cocker Spaniels and a Sprocker), 1 cat, 2 rabbits, 2 guinea pigs, a zebra finch and lots of chickens! In my spare time I enjoy walking the dogs, meals out and going swimming when I have the time!

I am a Veterinary Surgeon and qualified in 2015. I previously worked in a busy small animal hospital in London, however I am originally from Nottinghamshire.

I aim to offer the highest standard of care to all my patients and treat them as my own. For me the best part of my job is the variety it involves, and obviously making poorly pets feel better! In the future i would like to specialise in ophthalmology.

Outside of work i enjoy riding horses and generally spend all of my free time with them!

Veterinary Surgeon

I am a Qualified Veterinary Surgeon from Spain. Since finishing my degree I started to work in a Veterinary Hospital which I enjoyed thoroughly. After that, I had the opportunity to come to England for an internship in Leeds. I was working there up until December 2015 when I started work at Vets4Pets.

At Vets4Pets everyday is challenging and rewarding, my workmates are very friendly and hard-working. I really enjoy doing CPDs and I also like puppy and kitten consults. In the future I would like to specialise in Neurology.

Back in a Spain my best friend was my pet dog called Kiko who sadly passed away but I have recently adopted a pet Hamster from Pets at Home who I have named Rosie.

When I was given the chance to work with animals in 2012, I jumped at the opportunity and am currently in my final year to become a veterinary nurse.

Although its taken a lot of hard work and dedication to get were I am, I'm glad I took the career change and hope to be working along side animals for many years to come. Since becoming a part of the Sutton In Ashfield branch I still find myself learning new things and have enjoyed meeting my new clients and their pets.
