Stephanie Smith

Veterinary Surgeon & Joint Venture Partner

I am a Veterinary Surgeon and one of the practice partners here at Vets4Pets Sutton in Ashfield. I have worked at Vets4pets for the past 3 years, initially at Mansfield Vets4Pets before setting up my own practice here in Sutton. Prior to this I worked at a Veterinary Practice in Derby.

I enjoy all aspects of my job but I have a particular interest in small animal medicine and dermatology. I love my small furry patients especially rabbits and piggies! I have 3 dogs (a Border Collie, a Cocker Spaniel and a Sprocker), 1 cat, 3 rabbits, 5 guinea pigs, 1 hamster, 2 zebra finches and lots of chickens! In my spare time I enjoy walking the dogs, camping and going swimming when I have the time!

I am a Veterinary Surgeon, I have recently joined the Sutton team in May 2015 after working in a small animal practice near Chesterfield for the past 3.5 years. I have particular interests in diagnostic imagery and small animal medicine. At home I live with my fiancé Matt, a lively border collie, 1 cat, 2 chickens and 2 wonderful horses.

I devote a lot of my spare time to my animals and my most recent project - building a cattery on my back garden hopefully to be open by winter of this year.

Veterinary Surgeon

I am a Qualified Veterinary Surgeon from Spain. Since finishing my degree I started to work in a Veterinary Hospital which I enjoyed thoroughly. After that, I had the opportunity to come to England for an internship in Leeds. I was working there up until December 2015 when I started work at Vets4Pets.

At Vets4Pets everyday is challenging and rewarding, my workmates are very friendly and hard-working. I really enjoy doing CPDs and I also like puppy and kitten consults. In the future I would like to specialise in Neurology.

Back in a Spain my best friend was my pet dog called Kiko who sadly passed away but I have recently adopted a pet Hamster from Pets at Home who I have named Rosie.

Veterinary Surgeon

I am a Veterinary Surgeon and have recently joined the team at Sutton in September 2016. I am originally from South Wales and love going home to see my family and spend time at the beach.

I enjoy all of my job especially getting to meet lots of people and their pets everyday. I would like to specialise later in my career but can't decide what in yet!

I have no pets of my own at the moment as my beautiful Lab x and handsome horse recently passed away but I can't wait to have a house filled with animals again. In my spare time I like to horse ride, do outdoor activities and go on lots of holidays!

Hayley Roberts Mansfield SVN

Hayley Roberts

Registered Veterinary Nurse

I have worked with vets4pets for over 10 years and became a registered veterinary nurse in 2012, In my years with vets4pets I have learned a lot and taken up further qualifications in order to help improve my patient care skills.

As well as being a veterinary nurse I am also a pet health care counsellor, a diabetes adviser and clinical coach (practical trainer and assessor of student veterinary nurses).

The aspect of my job I find the most enjoyable are consults, as this allows me to help support and educate owners in preventative health care be it parasite control to behaviour concerns. This job allows me to learn something new and interesting everyday, which I have to admit I love being somewhat of a nerd.

Student Veterinary Nurse

I studied animal management before embarking on my career as a Student Veterinary Nurse with Vets4Pets Sutton in Ashfield. At home I live with my fiancé, son and dog Coco who I met roaming the streets whilst on holiday in Turkey. She was one expensive mongrel! I have longed to work with animals for many years and had a change of career later in life.

I absolutely love my job and have lots of love to give all the animals that come into the practice.

I started as a receptionist at Vets4Pets in April 2016 after working at a hairdressers in Kirkby for 3 years. I have a passion for all animals as well as being creative with hair. I enjoy meeting new animals and hearing about the mischievous stories of what they get up to. I have already learnt so much more about animals in the short space of time I have been with Vets4Pets. I currently still live at home with my Mum and Dad, 2 dogs Lexy & Kizzy, my cat Kitkat, Bunni the rabbit and 4 chickens. If I could have a house full of animals I would!
