Keely Walker

Veterinary Surgeon and JVP

Hi, I’m Keely, Veterinary Surgeon and JVP. I qualified from Edinburgh University in 2004 and have been working with small animals ever since. I have recently completed my certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice and have a special interest in small animal medicine.

In my spare time I enjoy swimming, Zumba, and theatre trips. I enjoy travelling, and visiting new places.

Practice Manager

Hello, I’m James the practice manager here at Swinton. I have been here for 6 years now and have been manager for 4 of those years. I enjoy building relationships with clients and getting to know their pets. With Keely, we have a Boston terrier called Lila and a Bengal called Baloo.

Outside of work, I enjoy watching football, I support Manchester City. I also enjoy playing crown green bowls, golf, snooker and guitar.

My name is Gabby and I joined the lovely team here at Swinton in September. I have worked as a vet for 19 years and I have a special interest in surgery. I really enjoy my job as I love working with animals. I have a dog called Argo, a goldendoodle and a cat named melody. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my children and going on walks in the countryside with Argo.

Hi, my name is Michelle and I’ve worked at Swinton for 2 and half years. I very much enjoy working with the team as we are like a family. I enjoy nurse consultations and sharing my 25 years’ experience as a RVN. I have too many pets to list so let’s just say I have a house full of crawly, swimmy, waggy and scaly things!

Veterinary Nurse

Hi, I’m Emily and I am one of the RVNs here at Swinton Vets4Pets. I graduated in July 2018 from Myerscough college after completing my 3 year training here at Swinton. I enjoy working within a friendly team and I like to build a strong rapport with clients and their pets.

When I am not in work caring for the patients, you will find me reading or spending time with family and my cats, Evie and Theo.

Receptionist

Hi my name is Sam, I have been at Vet4Pets since March 2016 and I really enjoy my job. I really enjoy meeting all your pets and having a sneaky cuddle when i can! I have two cats of my own, Isabella and Kitkat. Before I came to the vets I worked at Pets at Home Walkden, were I completed my nutritional adviser course. When I'm not working I keep busy by spending time with my kids, family and friends.

Hi, I have worked at vets4pets since March 2017. I have 2 German shepherds in the family called Shep and Luna. I like the customer service side of the role as I like to chat to all clients that come in with their pets. In my spare time, I like going out for food with my partner and son. I also like going to music festivals with my friends.

Hi, my name is Amy, I’m a receptionist here at Swinton. I joined the team in September 2018. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and looking after my crazy Newfoundland Arlo and my cheeky cat Chase.

Hi, my name is Abbi and I have just joined the team here at Swinton in September 2018. I am qualified in animal care and have worked with a wide variety of animals. In my spare time, my son and I foster cats and my son and I foster cats and kittens for cats protection.
