Thamesmead V4P Stevan Pesic

Stevan Pesic Dipl Vet, MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon and Owner

I am a qualified Veterinary Surgeon in two countries – my native Serbia and the UK where I am a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.

I work with small animals and have an interest in diagnostics such as x-rays and ultrasound, as well as in soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery.

I have worked in west Kent since 2005, working alongside some of the best Vets in the country and getting to know the pet lovers who live here.

Your pets deserve the highest standards of care - and that's what we deliver. I love living in Kent with my wife, two lovely daughters and two cats who take up most of my free time. What little is left I spend playing basketball.

Head Nurse

My name is Nikki and I am the Head Nurse here at Thamesmead.

I have been nursing for over 26 years. Every day is different.

I have a partiular interest in Animal Behaviour and Preventative Health Care We treat all our patients as if they were our own animals and spoil them rotten.

At home I have a SBT called Katie and a DSH cat called Duggie.

I also have a 15 year old son who is more trouble than Katie and Duggie put together.

Natalie Castle

Veterinary Care Assistant

I joined the team as a Veterinary Care Assistant in April 2016. I previously worked as an Animal Care Assistant for 4 years in a cat rescue centre.

In the near future I want to begin training to become a qualified Veterinary Nurse.

I really do love my job! Being a part of the team who ensure the upmost care for peoples pets is so rewarding.  I love hearing clients talking about their pets and getting to know them, especially when we see puppies and kittens on first and then second vaccinations and seeing how much they have grown!

At home I have two indoor cats, Tootsie, and Leo who has epilepsy that I recently rescued. I also have a hamster called Betty!

In my spare time I volunteer for a local cat rescue and enjoy reading books and watching webinars on animal behaviour.

Veterinary Care Assistant

I am Hungarian but have lived my whole life in Serbia where I graduated in 2011 at The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.

I have been surrounded by animals since childhood and so the decision to be a veterinarian came naturally.

At the end of October 2016 I joined this practice as a Veterinary Care Assistant.

I really enjoy this job and I love working both with the animals as well as helping their owners.

Hannah Barrick

Receptionist

I have always had a passion for animals and knew that I wanted to work in a Vet surgery. I spent two years in college where I gained an Animal Management Diploma, and since then I have gained five years experience working in veterinary surgeries across London as a nursing assistant, where I have had the chance to work with a range of different and interesting animals, including reptiles and birds!

I started working here in October 2016, and have loved every moment! All of the team are very caring and share the same passion for animals that drew me to this line of work, as well as having a friendly atmosphere, making it a great place not only to work but also for the clients that come to us.

At home I look after a lovely 12 year old DSH cat called Baby, and a very cheeky 4 year old corn snake called Ray, who was rehomed as a rescue. The free time that I do have is usually spent either with family, friends or fulfilling my second passionate hobby of writing.

Receptionist

I started working at the surgery as a Receptionist in April 2016. I love interacting with the clients and meeting new patients. All the cuddles with the puppies and kittens is an added bonus to my job.

In the future I would like to develop my career and perhaps take further studies into veterinary nursing.

At home I have a Staffordshire Bull Terrier called Sandy who loves snuggles and going for long walks.

My free time is spent with my son, family and friends and travelling.

Beverley Londono

Receptionist

My name is Beverley and I have been working in this practice since it opened in March 2016. I like working here because I enjoy interacting with all different types of pets. I have an Akita named Loki who I love to bits, and is turning 2 in October this year. He is extremely friendly with both people and other dogs, and would play with other dogs 24/7 if he could. Our family rescued him from Battersea Dogs & Cats Home and we feel very lucky to have found him. I have previously had an Akita named Samson and 2 rabbits.

I am currently studying to become a dietician.
