Eva Granath

Veterinary Surgeon and Practice Owner.

Why did you choose Vets4Pets Trafford Park and why do you enjoy working here? What have you worked as before you chose veterinary? I chose to set up the practice here as I have previously worked in the area and love the people, pets and the area here. During my school holidays I worked as a post woman and loved the exercise and the rounds.

What animals do you have/ what animals would you like to have? I have 2 adorable Irish Setters, they have very different personalities. However, both of them are very friendly and sometimes are sat at reception waiting to greet people. I also have 2 cats and 3 guinea pigs who do a great job at cutting my lawn.

If you were an animal, what would you be and why? A bird- as I love to travel and see many places, I enjoy my fellows company and I also enjoy sometime on my own as well. What hobbies and interests do you have outside of work? Zoopharmacognosy and pharmacognosy- complimentary treatment for both animals and humans. I also enjoy hiking and walking with my two boys, the Irish Setters, and friends. As well as this, I enjoy good food and wine.

What’s on your bucket list? Any dreams and/ or goals you would like to share? Yorkshire 3 peak challenge. To climb Mount Kilimanjaro September 2017. Hike in nepal up to the Everest base camp.

Finish: We always aim to give a first class, friendly, warm service to both people and their animals. Love to meet you soon.

Why did you choose Vets4Pets Trafford Park and why do you enjoy working here? What have you worked as before you chose veterinary? Having known Eva for years from being 18 I was delighted when she asked me to join her at Trafford Park. Before working in Veterinary I competed and rode horses for a horse dealership, I also worked in a hotel. I love every aspect of working as part of the team here and my favourite part is meeting our amazing clients and their gorgeous pets.

What animals do you have/ what animals would you like to have? I have 5 dogs, a British Bulldog, a Cavalier and 3 Chihuahuas. I also have 4 cats and a hamster.

If you were an animal, what would you be and why? A Bear, I am confident and protective over my friends and family. I am secretly sensitive and usually laid back and relaxed about things.

What hobbies and interests do you have outside of work? I enjoy socialising with my small group of friends and spending time with my animals that are my absolute world. I spend all my spare time with my animals, family and friends.

What’s on your bucket list? Any dreams and/ or goals you would like to share? I would love to one day run a rescue centre to give all animals another chance at happiness. I want to start a family of my own and my main goal is to always make people happy.

Finish: I really can’t wait to meet you all and your gorgeous pets. So you all soon. Cris xxx

Why did you choose Vets4Pets Trafford Park and why do you enjoy working here? What have you worked as before you chose veterinary? Before Vets4Pets Trafford Park I had only ever worked in Customer Service based roles and although I enjoyed my work I knew it wasn’t were my passion lay. I have always loved animals since a very young age and knew a career in Veterinary would suit me. Since Vets4Pets Trafford Park opened, it has always been the Vets I bring my own animals to, and so I knew it would be a fantastic place to work, with great people.

What animals do you have/ what animals would you like to have? I currently own 4 crazy dogs; 3 Pugs and a Boxer. I also have one very spoilt Ragdoll cat and my most recent family addition is my beautiful horse.

If you were an animal, what would you be and why? If I were an animal, I would most likely be a Cat. I’m quite independent, but like attention every now and again. I also have a sassy side to me.

What hobbies and interests do you have outside of work? Out of work I spend most of my time socialising with my friends and family, walking my dogs and being down at the yard.

What’s on your bucket list? Any dreams and/or goals you would like to share? I can’t say I have any specific ‘goals’ or a bucket list - I tend to take every day as it comes.

Finish: I look forward to meeting you all and your beautiful pets.

Why did you choose Vets4Pets Trafford Park and why do you enjoy working here? What have you worked as before you chose veterinary? I was interested in working in the Vets4Pets practice immediately as I love working alongside animals and was always interested in the health and care of animals and it was something new that I hadn’t experienced before. As well as this, I enjoy meeting and creating relationships with our amazing clients on a day to day basis. Working within our small but hardworking team is very rewarding as not only do we all see each other as colleagues were all like one big family that love working alongside each other. Previously, before I began working for Vets4Pets I use to work in MacDonald’s as a part time staff member as I use to be on a BTEC Acting level 3 diploma course at Pendleton College.

What animals do you have/ what animals would you like to have? At this moment in time I live with my mum and I have a small Yorkshire Terror called Dudley, he’s now 13 years old and I have had him since I was five years old. As well as Dudley, at my Dads house I have a kitten, Puddy, and two young dogs Milo and Bruno. In the future when I have my own place I would like to have two dogs of my own and a cat.

If you were an animal, what would you be and why? I think I would be a Chocolate Labrador as I am very bubbly, caring and loyal and these tend to be the characteristics of a Labrador.

What hobbies and interests do you have outside of work? I have been dancing on a local cheerleading team Firestorm Cheerleaders for 6 years now and enjoy to train and compete with them, we hold many titles and have also had bids to represent the UK at worlds and Europeans. As well as this, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and pets.

What’s on your bucket list? Any dreams and/ or goals you would like to share? I want to hopefully have a family of my own in the future and get married. As well as this I would like to take part in a tandem sky dive for charity

Finish: I look forward to meeting you and your gorgeous pets, see you all soon Charlotte.

I find it really rewarding to work here. Before Vets4Pets I worked as a chef for most of my life.

What animals do you have/ what animals would you like to have? I don’t currently have any pets. However, I hope to have a dog in the near future. I’d also like to have a duck or chicken.
