Trafford Park Vets4Pets Eva Tuer 2

Eva Granath

Veterinary Surgeon & Owner

I qualified in Sweden in 1998 and worked first at a busy veterinary hospital gaining a lot of surgical experience as well as medical experience. I moved to the UK in 2002 and have worked in small animal clinics since then. I have worked in this area previously and am very happy to be back here meeting all the clients and their pets.

My first dream since I was little was to become a vet and my most recent dream was to start up a practice where we can provide the very best care for both owners and their pets. I am delighted to have this opportunity and I truly enjoy working together with all my colleagues.

I have a keen interest in general medicine and soft tissue surgery with particular interest in skin problems, dentistry, acupuncture, practice management, rabbits and guinea pigs.

In my spare time I enjoy walking in the country side with my two Irish Setters and I look after my 3 cats, 3 bunnies and 4 piggies. I have run 4 marathons in the past, I still enjoy running but not as far. I also socialise with my friends and enjoy sharing good food and good wine.

Mike Geary

Veterinary Surgeon

I qualified in 1981 from the Royal Veterinary College, London and started work in Sussex in a veterinary hospital covering small animals, farm animals and horses. I was progressively drawn more to small animal work and especially surgery and I have a keen interest in both soft tissue and orthopaedic operations.

I was very pleased to start working here at Eva's practice, both to work with the team and to make use of the excellent operating and x-ray facilities we have.

We have two cats, Albert and Betty, and my main interests out of work are cycling, motorcycling and skiing.

Registered Veterinary Nurse

From a young age I always knew I wanted to work with animals, I have been working in the veterinary field since 2003 and qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in January 2009. I have recently moved to Manchester from London where I worked for 6 years. I love all aspects of nursing but do really enjoy medical nursing and have a keen interest in dentistry. I am a clinical coach which means I mentor student veterinary nurses through their training and help them achieve their qualifications.

I have two cats, Monty and Momo who my boyfriend and I rescued from a not so nice life previously, they’re now the most spoilt and loved kitties in the North! I enjoy live music, good food and spending time with family and friends.
