I graduated from the University of Queensland Australia in 1997. After working in small animal and mixed practice in Australia for three years I headed over to the UK. I have now been a resident for over 15 years and lived all over London before settling in Southwest London.

I've gained a wide range of experience working as the Head Veterinarian for a very busy hospital for the seven years, practising at the highest possible level. More recently deciding to take on a new challenge and open my very own Vets4Pets.

I have postgraduate certificates in small animal practice and surgery and I'm currently studying a cardiology certificate. I'm passionate about providing the best standard of care for all animals.

I have a lovely cat named Callan which I adopted as an abandoned stray.

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my wife and kids and can usually be found cycling with them, climbing or running in Bushy Park.

Christopher Berkett

Veterinary Surgeon

I graduated from Bristol University in 2015 and, after a few months working in the African bush, settled back in Richmond, where I've been since May '16. I enjoy all aspects of being a vet, in particular surgery, and am looking to further my skills with a certificate in the near future.

I live in Kingston, have two beautiful family Labradors and spend most of my spare time in Bushy Park or doing some form of fitness or exercise. My biggest passion outside of work is cricket, and I captain my local team during the summer.

Dagmara Zacharska

Veterinary Surgeon

Since I can remember, I always wanted to work with animals but my path to becoming a Veterinarian was a little bumpy. I completed a Human Physiotherapy Technician Degree in 2000 and spent a year working as a Hippotherapist. (This is a type of therapy for patients with physical and mental disorders which involves horses). I also travelled around Canada for 6 months after which I finally decided to go Vet school… it was now or never!

I graduated from Warmia and Mazury University in 2007 and have been enjoying my work ever since. I worked in Poland for a year and then moved to the UK in 2008. I worked in various places around England but finally settled in Southwest London, where I joined the lovely Vets4Pets team in 2016.

I enjoy many aspects of my work, but my main goal is to try to help animals as much as I can and to treat them in a way, I would like my animal to be treated. I also have a postgraduate certificate in Cardiology and in a few months, I will start my European certificate in Dentistry. I cannot wait! Outside work, I am a very active person. I love travelling and I am surrounded by different sport disciplines, but my heart especially focuses on fitness, kite surfing and mountain hiking.

Georgia Barton

Student Veterinary Nurse

Hi my name is Georgia and I have always had a passion for animals. I studied animal management and animal care at NESCOT College for 3 years. After which, I started working at Companion Care New Malden as a Receptionist. I transferred to Vets4Pets Walton as a Veterinary Care Assistant in 2017 and started my nurse training.

I have a dog called Boo and a cat called Tiny which I have grown up with. They are a big part of why I love animals so much. Working for Vets4Pets has opened many opportunities for me and I have lots of support from the team to help me get through my training. In my spare time I like to socialise with my friends and spend time with my family.
