Meet the team

Monish Malhotra JVP Merry Hill

Monish Malhotra

Veterinary Surgeon & Partner

I qualified from the Royal Veterinary College London in 2003. I worked in the Birmingham area in small animal practice for 2 years before I began locuming all over the UK to gain experience. I then worked and travelled around Australia and New Zealand for two and a half years - this was an amazing experience which allowed me to gain invaluable insight into differing clinical practices.

I enjoy being a vet general practitioner, especially the close interaction and relationship between vet and patient. I love providing an excellent service to all my clients and patients - both old and new.

Outside of work I am a sports enthusiast, love to read and am also a movie buff. My rescued Rottweiler, Beyonce, enjoys coming to work with me regularly.

Ionut Iurciuc MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

I graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Iasi Romania in 2015. During my studies I’ve completed internships for both small and large animals. I became a member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in London in March 2017 and soon I have the opportunity and pleasure to be employed with Companion Care Vets and their extraordinary team. Being a vet surgeon is the best challenge for me because I have to consult patients who do not speak, who can’t say in which area there are dysfunctions, patients who often react simply instinctively; so I must be able to "read" the clinical signs of the patient, interpret, diagnose, and intervene for solving the disease.

With every happy owner I feel like I’ve achieved my purpose. I have my best friend Tasa, a 7 year old boxer, here in the UK with me. She is a lovely companion, the best partner for outdoor activities and my constant source of joy.

Bogdan Florescu MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

I was born & raised in Romania, I studied veterinary medicine in Iasi, where I graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in July 2016.

During university I volunteered & worked inside a veterinary clinic that mostly dealt with small animals, but I also had the chance to work with farm animals for a couple of weeks.

I've always loved animals and one of my dreams was to move to a country that would give me the opportunity to interact with as many animal species as possible. Fortunately this dream came true in 2017, when I was given the chance to join this team.

Outside the work schedule, I enjoy visiting museums, old historical places, and when nobody is listening I really enjoy a good karaoke!

Ewa Czernicka MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

I graduated from Warsaw University of Life Science, Poland. I worked in a small animal clinic in Poland before I came to the UK 10 months ago. During my unvicersity time I was a member of IVSA-international Veterinary Student Association, which gave me an opportunity to participate in many research projects I also had a chance to do intership in one of the Equine Hospital, Oakdale, CA, USA.

My professional interests lie in surgery and imaging and in my spare time I love to travel- one of the most amazing places where I have been are Elephants Rescue Centre in Sri Lanka & beautiful Greenland. During my winter time I like to do snowboarding & summer sailing.

I am very happy to be a new member of the Companion Care Team and I am going to do my very best to provide owners & their pets the highest level of care.

Mircea Cebotari MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

After graduating The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine back in my hometown of Iasi, Romania I decided on a fresh start and moved to England. This transition was easy as the people here had always welcomed me with an open heart. I got to know different people from all walks of life, I got to make unexpected friends, and slowly I found a home here.

Back in Romania I used to practice veterinary medicine at a dairy cattle farm, a job which I truly loved, but at the end of the day I'm a dog person at heart and I got into this field for this particular reason.

I'm glad that I could join this wonderful team and I'm happy knowing that I'll always do a job that brings joy both to me and my patients.

Alexandra Scripcariu MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

I graduated from Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Iași, Romania June 2017. I really love the profession I have chosen and have a great passion in this sector. I wanted to do my best to become a good veterinary surgeon... so I decided to take this opportunity and move to the United Kingdom. Even though I left my country just 2 months after my graduation I have no regrets because here at Companion Care & vets4pets I have met a great team and I have extraordinary vets beside me who share their experience and knowledge with me. Back home in Romania I have a German Shepard his name is Ricky. Since he was a puppy he was very naughty and mischievous but I love him with all my heart and I miss him dearly. In my spare time I like Reading, watching Cartoons, cooking and I love long walks. I very much look forwards to meeting all of our clients along to way and our pet patients!

Marta Cziriak MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

Ever since I was a child, I liked and loved the animals, and I wanted to be a veterinary surgeon. My dream became a reality when I graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Cluj Napoca, Romania. During the faculty I had the opportunity to practice and volunteer in small animal clinics, but also in some farms. I also had the opportunity to go with the Erasmus Scholarship to Italy for an exchange of experience.

My dream of working in a veterinary clinic with small animals became I reality when I became a member of the team at Companion Care & Vets4Pets. I am very happy and proud to be part of this great and extraordinary team.

Cosmin Balan MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

I was born in a small town in Romania, and graduated the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. I then moved to the UK that same year, where I began work as a Meat Hygiene Inspector, ensuring food safety at several abattoirs within Scotland. Getting this job within Vets4Pets really meant a lot, as my dream was always to work in a veterinary clinic. I feel lucky to be surrounded by a supportive team who have been very welcoming & have helped the growth of my career.

Ilias Nestoratos MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

I am Ilias and I am happy to have recently joined the team at Companion Care & Vets4Pets. I qualified as a vet in Iasi, Romania in 2013, and worked as a vet in Greece gaining experience in both small animal and larger farm animal environments. I have been a registered vet in the UK since 2016 and have been looking to broaden my professional horizons and further develop my skills, and I have also worked in quality control services. My main interest is small animal surgery, and I am committed to ensuring that the best possible treatment and medical care is provided.

I grew up in the countryside, and a cat or a dog were never missing from my house, so it did not take long for me to realise my interest in the field. I consider myself lucky to be doing what I love and to provide care and treatment to animals who mean so much to their owners.

After work I enjoy playing football, which I am a big fan of, and spending quality time with friends, which always helps me to wind down after a long day.I am very happy to be a member of the team at Companion Care & Vets4Pets, and I am excited to meet my four-legged patients!
