Aimee Elsden

Aimee Elsden

Veterinary Surgeon & Partner

I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2008 and gained extensive experience working in a busy Veterinary Hospital in Dorset. I enjoy investigating medical cases and have completed the RCVS Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice (Small Animal Medicine).

Having grown up surrounded by animals on a farm in Suffolk, and having worked in mixed animal practice during my early years, I am well versed in treating all species of animal.

Away from the excitement of running our new practices, I enjoy exploring Dorset, swimming and riding my horse called Dave!

Anna Warren

Anna Warren

Veterinary Surgeon & Partner

I grew up in Devon and graduated with Honours from the Royal Veterinary College in 2005. Following several years in a mixed practice in Bedford, I relocated to the South Coast. I refined my skills in a Tier 3 Veterinary Hospital in Dorset before gaining considerable surgical experience over 3 years working at the PDSA Hospital in Portsmouth.

I have a particular interest in diagnostic imaging (ultrasound and radiography) and enjoy small animal surgery. I am very pleased to be opening a second Vets4Pets practice with Aimee and will be devoting most of my time to the Weymouth practice.

In my spare time I enjoy cycling, rugby, playing golf and early morning gym sessions!

I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2008 and have since worked in general small animal practice.  I’m originally from Lancashire but have worked in Suffolk and Herefordshire previously.  I live with my husband and my cat, Mole.  Outside of work I enjoy playing netball and socialising with friends and family.

Vikki Stoddart

Registered Veterinary Nurse

I am originally from Shropshire in the West Midlands and I always had a strong passion for animals. After completing the National Certificate of Veterinary Care Assistants in 2007, I studied two more years for the National Diploma of Animal Management. This was followed by the Foundation Degree of Veterinary Nursing at Harper Adams University, qualifying in 2012.

Since then I have gained experience at a Vets4Pets practice and a Veterinary Hospital; I also worked for a short time at Pets at Home in Dorchester, before starting at Vets4Pets in Weymouth.

I have had a wide variety of pets in the past: gerbils, leopard geckos, rats and dogs. At the family home I helped look after hedgehogs and other wildlife, and during college I also worked at an exotics pet shop, mainly taking care of snakes and lizards.

Currently at home my boyfriend and I have a young Sprocker Spaniel called Toby, who just loves playing at the park with a tennis ball and long walks in the countryside and by the sea.

Registered Veterinary Nurse

I qualified in January 2011 and have spent the last 7 years in small animal and exotics practices in Dorset. This allowed me to gain experience with unusual pets. My menagerie at home includes 6 ducks, 2 cats, a tortoise, 4 tree frogs, a huge tank of marine fish and a tame husband!

Veterinary Care Assistant

Since primary school I have been determined to work with animals. In the last few years I have completed two diploma courses in Animal Management at Kingston Maurward. I am very excited by the opportunity that has arisen at Vets4Pets and hope to undergo my Veterinary Nurse training in due course. In my spare time, I love listening to music, reading and going to see my boyfriend whilst spending time with his two crazy but cute Jack Russell Terriers.

I have worked in various customer service roles including nine years’ pet retail experience with Pets At Home, gaining knowledge of small animals, aquatics and reptiles. I have two National Diplomas in Animal Management from Kingston Maurward College plus a Foundation Degree in Responsible Pet Ownership. In my spare time I enjoy walking, snowboarding, visiting theme parks and attending Zumba classes.

I have worked in customer service and admin based roles for the past 10 years, having completed a Level 2 NCFE Business and Administration course.

My strong love for animals drove me to pursue a career with Vets4Pets.

In my spare time I enjoy being outdoors and spending time with my husband and step sons. We have six fish and a naughty cat called Walter.
