Rachel Woodward BVMS GPCert (ExAP) MRCVS

Owner & Veterinary Surgeon

Hi I’m Rachel. I’m a Veterinary Surgeon and one of the partners here at Widnes Vets4Pets. I am a born and raised Widnesian and am looking forward to meeting you and your pets. I studied at Glasgow Veterinary School and took a detour via a busy mixed practice in Lincolnshire to come back home to Widnes.

I thoroughly enjoy my job. I have an interest in exotic species and am very happy to say that I have recently completed a post graduate certificate in exotic animal practice. I also really enjoy surgery, so watch this space for future developments in this area.

I have a crazy springer spaniel called Poppy, who can often be found at the surgery as our patient welcoming department/extra receptionist. I also have a Syrian hamster called Pudding who loves treats.

Outside of work I can be found playing my saxophone as part of Liverpool Hope Concert Band, or having long walks with Poppy.

Aleksandra Kulisch MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

Hi my name is Aleksandra but most of you know me or will know me as Ola. I'm Veterinary Surgeon. I've graduated in 2013 from University of Life Science in Lublin, Poland. In Poland I spent 3 years working in a small animal practice. In 2016 with my husband we decided to come to UK to begin a new adventure in our life. Now I'm enjoying being part of Vets4Pets Widnes team.

My specific professional interest includes internal medicine, radiology, ultrasound examination and surgery. Outside of work I enjoy photography, travel and spending time with my friends and family.

Veterinary Surgeon

Hi, I’m Konrad. I graduated in 2014 from Lublin University of Life Science in Poland. I have worked in a mixed practice for 2 years but in 2017 I decided to come to the UK to start a new chapter in my life. I have worked with big and small animals during those few years but I’m now enjoying seeing a wider variety of small and exotic patients. Outside of work I like playing volleyball and relaxing at home playing video games with friends.

Veterinary Care Assistant

Hi, my name is Jessica and I am a Veterinary Care Assistant and Receptionist here at Widnes Vets4Pets. I began my career in 2013 as a receptionist in the Vets4Pets Warrington branch. I transferred to Widnes in 2015 and it was here that I was able to progress my career. I am currently studying the Veterinary Care Assistant Course and I am hoping to later study to become a Veterinary Nurse.

If I am not here with your fur babies I am at home with my own. I have a Yorkshire terrier called Archie, a female cat called Misty, a male cat called Albi, and three female guinea pigs – Pepper, Phoebe, and Clementine. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends.

I also have a rescue tortoise called Sheldon who loves climbing and rearranging his environment. In my free time I enjoy photography, hill walking, and spending time with family.

Receptionist

Hi, I’m Kath one of the receptionists here at Vets4pets Widnes. I have now worked at this lovely practice from when we opened in February 2015, and can honestly say it is the more rewarding, enjoyable job I have had.

I have worked with the public for over 30 years, mainly in law, and completely adore meeting our fabulous pets and their owners. I am proud to say, I am known as “Auntie Kath” to our lovely fury friends that come to see us, and truly feel blessed at the brilliant relationship I have withpets and their owners. I think perhaps that fact that I give our lovely pets “treats” helps!!!!! – Well hey they give me sloppy kisses, so it’s only fair!!!!

In my spare time, I enjoy socialising with family and friends and enjoying the amazing food cooked by my lovely husband John.

Receptionist

Hey, I’m Faye. I am the newest member of the Vets4pets team. I am the proud owner of many pets such as my little dog Nelly and my two guinea pigs Bubba & Arlo. I also have 4 grey hounds Cassie, Bear, Sam, and Buddy. I am very fortunate to be able to work in such a wonderful place where so many animals get treatment and help they need. It is not very often that you get to work in a job you love and I am one of the few who can actually say I love what I do.
