Lisa Welch RVN

Owner and Registered Veterinary Nurse/Practice Manager

I have been working in practice since 2002 and after many years of supporting others and working as a head nurse on numerous occasions, I finally qualified myself in 2015! I studied at Greenwich University for 3 years as a degree level paramedic and in my own time, I'm a professional photographer and bodybuilding athlete.

I've felt for years that I've hit every target possible working in other people's practices. I didn't want to believe that Head Nurse was all I could offer my patients. My future goals are not only to provide bigger employment progression for veterinary nurses, but also to provide a vets that works with clients on every level, ensuring that both professional and owner provide the best and most fulfilling life for their loved ones. I truly believe that with Vets4Pets and my dedication, pretty much anything will be possible.

Dr Jacek Mochol
Ph.D., MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

I graduated with distinction from The University of Agriculture, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Lublin, Poland in 2002. Then I worked at the University at the Department and Clinic of Internal Medicine dividing my time between clinical work, scientific research and teaching students. I achieved my Ph.D. in internal medicine in 2008. Subsequently, I moved to the UK where I worked across the country for Companion Care Vets, Vets4Pets, PDSA and privately owned small animal veterinary surgeries and hospitals. This amazing experience allowed me to gain invaluable insight in different aspects of veterinary profession.

As a veterinary surgeon I am passionate about all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery, while having a particular interest in internal medicine. My ambition is to provide an exceptional veterinary care combined with high quality client focused service.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my lovely wife and our son. At home we have two rescue bunnies and a big fish tank. In my spare time, I love reading, listening to music and travelling.

I completed two animal care courses at Berkshire College of Agriculture.

Then I went into retail for a few years but now back on the animal track.

I have a cat called Millie and two rats; Zeus and Hades, named by my daughter and I hope to have a pug in the future.

I have done voluntary work with the Cats Protection League in the past. I enjoy travelling aboard, as well as reading, and going to the cinema and theatre.

Receptionist

Before working for Vets4Pets I was a full-time mum to my two children, Billy and Charlotte and before that I worked as a travel advisor for Thomson.

I have always had a passion for animals and grew up with them. I used to horse ride in my spare time and loved being involved with the stables.

I'm currently the proud owner of a dog called Maddison and four Guinea pigs named: Nutmeg, Louie, Peanut and Bert. I am looking forward to meeting new clients and their pets.

Receptionist

I am currently working part time with Wokingham Vets4Pets whilst I attend Reading College, as part of an apprenticeship for my level 2 Diploma in Plumbing. I have never worked in a veterinary practice before, but I am really enjoying learning a new and completely different trade.

Even though my career path is not entirely veterinary, I love learning about patient care and I am really enjoying getting to know all the clients and their companions.
