Yunus joined the team in June 2023, after making a life-changing decision to live in the UK, Yunus is one of the vets in the practice. He is eager to get better at internal medicine and is always open to learning new things about veterinary medicine in general.
Yunus has a cat named Purpur living with him and had lived with three cats for years while living with his parents. Although he’s had only cats so far, he never misses the chance to stroke a dog with a wildly wagging tail. He likes poetry, taking pictures with his DSLR camera, comics and reading articles on a variety of topics from psychology to comic book universes.
I am a recently qualified veterinary surgeon having graduated from the University of Surrey in the summer of 2024. I have a keen interest in surgery and am very excited to be a part of the team here at Maidstone.
Outside of work I enjoy drawing and hiking as well as spending time with my family, including my two cats (Snowflake and Tortoise) and my little Terrier mix (Yorkie).
