I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2012. Joe and I decided to open our first Vets4Pets practice in Abingdon in 2016, having worked in multiple referral and first opinion veterinary hospitals across the UK prior to taking this big step. We later opened in Oxford and Newbury and are very proud of the teams we have working at each practice. I split my time between each of the three practices and have recently passed post graduate examinations with the British Small Animal Veterinary Association (BSAVA) in Small Animal Internal Medicine.

My clinical areas of interest are intensive care, acute medicine and soft tissue surgery, although I enjoy all aspects of veterinary practice. I am also developing a special interest in working dogs, and in 2020 volunteered as a trail veterinarian on the Iditarod Dog Sled race across Alaska! I believe in treating all of my patients as if they were my own animals and am extremely proud of the way the whole team here put our patients and clients first.

My wife Lucy is also a vet and one of the partners at Vets4Pets Oxford, and we live with two naughty dogs called Watson and Doug, and a rather superior three legged cat called Archie!

I qualified from the Royal Veterinary College and have a special interest in small animal orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery. Further to qualifying I have passed the British Small Animal Veterinary Association Surgical exams and was awarded a post graduate certificate in small animal surgery. This is an intensive three year course where Veterinary Surgeons are taught by Specialists to perform more advanced and technically demanding operations. We offer referral work for soft tissue and orthopaedics including TPLO/TTA/CCWO for cruciate surgery, fracture repair, key hole surgery and airway surgery (BOAS). In 2017 I was recognised by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons for our work in surgery and awarded Advanced Practitioner Status in orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery. I am presently studying for a second award in Advanced Small Animal Orthopaedics so as to offer our clients even more when it comes to their pet’s care.

Away from the operating table I really enjoy playing rugby. Dan and myself met on the rugby field fourteen years ago and I’m very excited to be owning a practice where I first began my veterinary career.

I also own a rescue cat called Cobweb who came to us from the RSCPA with a broken pelvis (now cured!) and a black Labrador Lyra who is always a welcoming face on reception at work.

I graduated from the University of Bristol in 2010 with Honours and immediately started working at the Queen Mother Hospital for Animals after gaining a Junior Clinical Training scholarship. From here I moved to rural Warwickshire to work in a traditional mixed practice. These early experiences gave me a good grounding in both first opinion and referral work across a wide variety of species. I have worked at Vets4Pets Newbury (formerly Companion Care) since it first opened in 2014. My areas of clinical interest are internal medicine and emergency care and I really enjoy furthering my knowledge whenever possible.

Outside of work I am kept very busy by my four dogs “Briar”, “Sweep”, “Ebby” and our latest addition, a rescue called “Holly”. After growing up on a farm I like nothing more than spending time out in the countryside with the dogs, especially if a long walk and visit to a pub garden is involved.

I started at Vet4Pets Newbury South in August 2022, after working in a busy veterinary hospital for many years. I enjoy all aspects of veterinary nursing but have a particular interest in surgery and anaesthesia. I am a clinical coach and enjoy teaching both veterinary nurse students in practice. I love the team here at Vets4Pets Newbury South and the gold standard care provided for all animals.

At home I have a toddler and a crazy Hungarian Vizsla. I enjoy taking him on long walks, baking and spending time with my family.

Hi, my name is Hannah and I am a Registered Veterinary Nurse. I graduated from The Royal Veterinary College London in 2022 and joined Vets4Pets Newbury South two years later.

I have a particular interest in emergency and critical care with the hope to complete a certificate in the near future.

I enjoy working at Vets4Pets Newbury South due to the variety of surgical and medical cases coming through our doors and the excellent team behind the scenes.

At home in the south east of Spain, we have our family dog, a very spoilt black Labrador called Diesel. In my spare time you’ll find me booking my next trip to see him for a walk along the beach or a game of ball!

I started my journey in 2015 and studied a BSc in Veterinary Nursing at Coventry University. During my university placements I loved every aspect of my training but became particularly interested in emergency and critical care and impatient care.

Shortly after qualifying I decided to challenge my skills and took my first role working in an intensive care unit in a referral centre. Little did I know I would spend the next 4/5 years working in intensive care units across the country. During this time, I completed an Advanced Certificate in Emergency and Critical Care and learnt lots of advanced nursing skills.

I joined Vets4Pets Newbury South in September 2023 after looking for a role that would challenge me in new ways and where I could use my experience to teach others.

Outside of work I enjoy playing rugby and hiking up mountains with my two rescue dogs Odin and Wilson. Their favourite mountain moment so far has been climbing Helvellyn via striding edge.

I started working at Vets4Pets in September 2019 as a receptionist and progressed to a Veterinary Care Assistant shortly after this.

I began my Veterinary Nursing journey in September 2021, and will hopefully qualify this year! My main interest of nursing is surgical and anaesthesia cases.

It is so rewarding to see the difference the whole team at Vets4pets make to each and every animal that comes in to see us and I couldn’t ask for a better place to work!

I have always loved animals, both big and small, and come from a household of many cats and dogs, including a rescue cat called Puddle.

I joined Vets4Pets Newbury South initially as a receptionist, after working with animals for many years from kennels to dog walking as well as being a fully trained dog groomer. I studied at Berkshire College of Agriculture and completed my Level 3 Extended Diploma in animal management, which included working with a vast variety of animals of all different species. As a receptionist, I missed being hands on with the animals and so progressed to a Veterinary Care Assistant and I am now currently a Student Veterinary Nurse.

I have two crazy dogs and an adopted rabbit at home and they are spoilt rotten. I love going abroad and helping at rescue shelters with the less fortunate animals.

It's great to be making a difference for all the pets that come into us as I have a passion for all animals big and small.

I joined Vets4pets Newbury South in September 2019 as a Veterinary care assistant and in September 2022 became Senior Veterinary Care Assistant. I have always had an interest in animal health and their wellbeing. I have a love for all animals big or small and yes I’m that person sitting with the dog at a party full of people. Animals are a big part of the family and owners put their trust in us to care for them, so it’s a great feeling to be part of such an amazing team all working together to help care for them. Knowing that every day we are making a difference to an animal's life is one of the most rewarding parts of working in veterinary care.....obviously all the puppy cuddles help too.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with family, friends and taking long walks with my 2 dogs Roo and Mya.

I started working as a Veterinary Receptionist at Vets4Pets Newbury South in September 2018 and my current role is Receptionist/ Administrator. I really enjoy my role working closely with insurance and suppliers.

I'm so glad to be part of a wonderful team who are all so hard working and devoted in making sure each patient gets the best care, attention and cuddles on each visit. I love the challenges that working in a vets provides and I really enjoy learning new things every day.

Outside of work I enjoy the outdoors and exploring new places with my partner Simon and our 2 children Henry and Freya. At home we have our cat Macy, a silver tabby who loves visiting the practice as she always gets lots of treats and cuddles. I look forward to meeting you and your pets on your next visit with us.

I joined Vets4Pets Newbury South as a receptionist at the beginning of November 2023. The team I work with is amazing, everyone is so supportive and caring. The pets that come here are made such a fuss of, treated with kindness and respect. My favourite part is the cuddles with puppies, helping owners and the team.

I have three young dogs of my own, who are collectively known as the Hoolies and like nothing better than to meet people and make them muddy whilst out walking. I have a pharmacy background, so am very interested in the medication that is used to treat the pets that come into us.

I started working for Vet4Pets Newbury South in 2023 as a receptionist. I’ve always been an animal lover and knew I wanted a job where I get to work with them every day, but to be a part of such an amazing team who goes above and beyond for them is more than I could’ve asked for, it is so rewarding to watch the team here do what they do best!

After growing up in a house of multiple pets, I now live with my cat, Kane and a Jack Russell called Rex…who is definitely a character! I love all aspects of this job, but I’d be lying if I didn’t say my favourite part is the cuddles , if you can’t find me out on reception, you’ll find me with the cats!

Vets4Pets Newbury South is committed to bringing you affordable, high quality care via a modern, well equipped practice, including a laboratory, pharmacy, digital x-ray and ultrasound. We can also offer plenty of on-site car parking too!

We look forward to welcoming you to the practice!
