I’m Michelle, Joint Venture Partner here at New Malden since October 2012. I can't believe I graduated so long ago in 1999 and have no idea where the time has gone- I guess time flies when you are having fun!
Going to work as a vet is something I still enjoy every day- I love my patients and find the work stimulating and challenging, never knowing what the day will hold. I really enjoy the variety that general practice brings and particularly value the relationships that I have developed, and continue to develop with my clients. My team at New Malden are compassionate and fun and they bring a lot of joy to my days too.
Outside of work I have lots of fun with my son and enjoy theatre and music events with my friends. I also like to wind down with a book if I ever get a quiet moment.
At home we have a lovely bearded dragon called Belle, who is pictured here with me ❤️

In my spare time I'm often found running around after my troublesome cat Blue, or out with my friends. .

I graduated from St. Petersburg State Academy of Veterinary Medicine in 2011 and have worked primarily with exotic and zoo animals ever since. Following a period of intensive preparation, I passed the MRCVS statutory exam, enabling me to practise in the UK. After several more years of dedicated study, I achieved the status of Certificate Holder in Exotic and Avian Medicine. I’m passionate about ongoing learning and regularly attend seminars and training courses in the UK, USA, and Europe to stay current with the latest advances in exotic animal care. Outside of work, I enjoy sports - especially professional cycling and caring for my own little menagerie of four tortoises, two parrots, and two Von der Decken’s hornbills.

I started working at this practice in April 2024, and I have been very lucky to work with such dedicated and incredible people! Getting experience from a place like this can really help to learn a lot more about not just the patients, but the clients too and I am very excited about where this leads me in the future.

In my spare time, I love to watch my favourite tv shows and meet up with my friends.

Hi, I'm Joana, I am originally from Portugal, where I started my career as Veterinary Care Assistant in 2015 before qualifying as Veterinary Nurse. I've gained experience in hospital, specially wards and emergency care, both in Portugal and the UK in the last few years and I have a special interest in cats, which motivated me to do the Feline Nursing Certificate by ISFM. I've recently joined Vets for Pets, where I now focus on preventive care, which I believe is super important. Outside of the practice I love hanging out with my cat, Bilbinho and go to long walks with my partner.

Hi, I’m Caroline! I’m a receptionist who genuinely loves chatting with clients and making them feel welcome. I started working at a veterinary practice in February 2025, and it’s been such a joy to combine my love for people and animals in one place. I’ve always had a soft spot for pets and hope to have a dog of my own again someday—I lost my beloved furry friend a few years ago and still miss them dearly. When I’m not at work, you’ll probably find me watching movies, going for walks, or spending time with my family.
