Meet the team
Dr Michelle Akande
Joint Venture Partner and Veterinary Surgeon
BVSc, MRCVS
I graduated from Bristol University in 2016 and have been working since as a small animal vet. I love the variety of animals I get to see on a daily basis and am looking forward to working at New Malden, having volunteered here as a student.
In my spare time I'm often found running around after my troublesome cat Blue, or out with my friends. .
I graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2019 and started working at Vets for Pets New Malden soon after. I love meeting all our patients and their lovely owners day to day and working with our amazing team here at New Malden. I have a particular interest in ultrasonography and internal medicine and I am passionate about providing a thorough and compassionate care to all my patients. Outside of work I enjoy practicing yoga, reading and spending quality time with family and friends.
Dr Vasileios Loizidis
Veterinary Surgeon
MVDr MRCVS
I started working at this practice in April 2024, and I have been very lucky to work with such dedicated and incredible people! Getting experience from a place like this can really help to learn a lot more about not just the patients, but the clients too and I am very excited about where this leads me in the future.
In my spare time, I love to watch my favourite tv shows and meet up with my friends.
I joined Vets4Pets in October 2025 and I’ve had a wonderful time working alongside such an amazing team, as well as meeting all the clients with their unique pets. Exploring my passion of working with animals has been an incredible experience and I’m excited to continue this journey.
In my spare time, I enjoy painting, watching my favourite shows and spending time with my friends.
Julia (Joolz) Pincham
Joint Venture Partner and Practice Manager
RVNVPAC
I’m Joolz, Joint Venture Partner and Practice Manager here at New Malden. I have been working in Veterinary Practice since 1999 and have worked in many different surgery’s, starting at the RSPCA in Putney, where I trained to be a Veterinary Nurse. My career took me as far out as Australia to help out in the RSPCA in Sydney which was fantastic! I progressed into a Head Nurse role in 2006 then moved into practice management in 2011. I joined Vets For Pets in October 2018 and have loved the can do attitude of our team. I am still a Registered Veterinary Nurse and will on occasion help out with the pets when needed. I I have a little dog called Bear who keeps me on my toes!
