Having become fully certified as a vet in 1999, I have worked most of my career here in Newport. From 2001-2008 I worked under the tutelage of Mrs Morris at Summerhill before opening up Vets4Pets in 2008. Since opening we have strived to gain excellent standards of care to people’s pets and been here as a support for clients. We have been nominated, by our clients, for practice, vet and receptionist of the year.

I studied at the University of Surrey and graduated as part of the first ever class in July 2019. I’ve known the practice for over 7 years and am excited to finally be part of the fantastic team. My veterinary interests include surgery and exotics (the small furry kind). When I’m not at work my three spaniels Peanut, Snoop and Olive keep me rather busy! When I do have time you’ll find me reading a good book.

I completed my first degree of infectious diseases at the University of Edinburgh, after which I decided to follow my dream of becoming a veterinary surgeon at the University of veterinary sciences Brno in the Czech Republic.

I graduated in June 2022 and was very excited to start my veterinary career with the amazing team at the Newport Branch.

My veterinary interests are diagnostic imaging and developing my surgical skills. Outside of work I enjoy going for long walks and jet skiing. I also love experimenting with new recipes for cooking or baking.
