After moving to Peterborough from Nottinghamshire and training at the practice, I have recently become a fully qualified veterinary nurse. At home, I enjoy drawing, painting, and cooking. I have lived with cats all my life and have rescued a kitten called Fidget who is now leading a very happy life at my parents.
I qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2008 and have been in vet practices since 2004. I joined companion care in January 2009.
As well as my nursing duties in practice, I am responsible for processing the insurance paperwork and assisting our customers with their insurance queries. I am also a clinical coach to the student veterinary nurses. I have an interest in Neonatal and Intensive care .
My free time is spent as a family with my daughter.
Hello, my name is Annika and I'm a Student Veterinary Nurse here at Vets for Pets. I am currently studying at the College of Animal Welfare. I have always had a love for animals and a strong interest to help them, which has led me to pursue a career in the veterinary industry. When I'm not at work I enjoy spending time with my husband and our Staffy X, Bess, who you can sometimes see behind our reception desk. I look forward to helping you and your pet on their health and wellbeing journey.
