Bishops Stortford Vets for Pets

I qualified as a Vet from UCD in Dublin in 2009, and spent two and a half years working in mixed practice in Ireland. My wife is from London, so we moved back in 2012 and I have been working in small animal practice ever since. I am currently undertaking a post graduate certificate in small animal medicine. I enjoy all aspects of being a vet, both medical and surgical. I grew up on a family farm, surrounded by animals. Despite originally becoming a Pharmacist and working in that profession for several years, I always knew that veterinary medicine was where my heart was, therefore it was back to university for me. I am now fortunate to do a job that I love. When not at work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, two daughters, and our Norfolk terrier, Pip. I am also a keen sportsperson, although sadly my playing days are just about finished. I guess it comes to us all!

I qualified from the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna in 2005. Whilst working full time in a small animal hospital in Austria I continued a post graduate doctoral program at the University for two years and came to the UK in 2010. After working in a small animal hospital with out of hours service in Hertfordshire for five years I joined the Vets4Pets group in 2015. I have been part of Vets for Pets Bishop's Stortford since April 2018. I enjoy all aspects of small animal medicine but I particularly like internal medicine and abdominal ultrasound. In my spare time I enjoy travelling, reading and skiing in Austria.

Qualified in 1998 in Germany. Main interests are small animal medicine and dentistry. At the moment working on a post-grad Masters in OneHealth. Outside work she is married, has two cats and enjoys playing video games. 

I am a long term locum vet, and enjoy all aspects of small animal veterinary work.

I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2025 with a degree in Veterinary Medicine and Bioveterinary Sciences. I joined the team at Bishops's Stortford shortly after graduating, where I've developed a strong interest in surgery.Outside of work, I enjoy reading and going to the gym, and I have a one eyed cat called Gremlin who keeps me very busy!

I qualified as a RVN in 1992 and have worked in small animal practice ever since. My special interests are Radiography and Dental Care. I am a busy mum of 4 and have a menagerie of pets at home. I have worked at Vets for Pets Bishop's Stortford since September 2019 and promoted to Practice Manager in early 2021.

I started working part-time at Vets for Pets Bishop's Stortford in 2021 after some years of ad hoc locum work with the team, and I enjoy being part of the permanent team.  I qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2010 and trained at The Royal Veterinary College.

My special interests are in bereavement counselling, training students, nurse consults.  

I have my own menagerie at home, which consists of Oscar the Jack Russell, Bert the Budgie, and Jeff the Pheasant. 

Outside work hours I enjoy being a mum to my two girls, singing and I have a passion for interior design.

After gaining lots of amazing experience as a veterinary care assistant and have been training as Student Veterinary Nurse for the past few years and have qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse this summer.

I have been a vet nurse since 2013 and working with Vets for Pets since June 2024 after working at multiple practices in the area and some locum work. I have enjoyed all the things you can learn from working with many different veterinary professionals with different approaches and skill sets. 

I have been a Client Care Advisor here at Vets for Pets Bishops Stortford since November 2018.  I have two gorgeous French Bulldogs (Piper & Trevor) and two cats, Cassie and Dilly.

Having always been around animals since a young age, I’ve always had a keen interest in working with them. I worked at a boarding kennels and cattery before coming to Vets for Pets, and working there helped me gain a lot of knowledge about dogs and cats. However I am now looking forward to extending my knowledge further through a veterinary-based role.

Hi I'm Nikki, I've always loved animals & my little chihuahua Mimi is my best friend. I'm a mum of one and he keeps on my toes! I've always volunteered at animal sanctuaries and campaigned for animal welfare in my free time. I'm so grateful to be finally working in a job I genuinely love. My goal is ultimately to become a Veterinary Nurse. I joined the team at Vets for Pets Bishop's Stortford in 2022.

I've worked here since November 2025. I love every bit of my job, especially enjoy meeting new people and their wonderful pets and I really enjoy interacting with the pets. I own 2 big German Shepherds of my own and I love them dearly
