Hi I'm Mariam! Before joining Vets for Pets in 2023, I was studying in London for my Bachelors in Bio-Veterinary Sciences at the Royal Veterinary College. I later developed an interest in Animal Welfare & Conservation in Writtle University College, where I received my Postgraduate Certificate in 2017. While I learned a lot during this time, I always wanted to be a vet & travel around Europe, so I decided to move abroad to Trakia University in Bulgaria where I completed my Masters in Veterinary Medicine in 2023. After moving to beautiful Yorkshire, I've really enjoyed wandering around the local area, painting in my garden, & eating a lot of food!

Since being with Vets4Pets in 2011, I have moved over to Castleford Branch in 2013 and become our British Sign Language Team Member.
You’ll usually find me with enjoying a cuppa whilst watching Crime Documentaries or listening to all things 90s/Noughties. 🎶
However, I spend most of my time with my family including my tabby cat, Athena with the persona of a tiger.

Hello, I'm Jenny and I’ve spent the last five years being a friendly face on reception welcoming clients, cuddling pets, and trying not to take every animal home with me. Outside of work, I’m a photographer, usually found chasing the perfect shot or chasing my three cats, Opie, Loki and Beans who have no interest in cooperating. When I’m not doing that, I love spending time with my husband and my daughter, Ivy. I’m in my 30s but still running on 20s energy, fully thriving on a 90s upbringing, and occasionally making questionable decisions like staying up far too late.
