Meet the team
Dr Claire Wright

MRCVS
Tarn hails from Norfolk and qualified as a Vet from Cambridge University. She joins us following a role at a nearby Animal Hospital.
One of Tarn's passions is helping British Wildlife, either via medical treatment or helping with species specific research.
Our Head Nurse Cathy joined the practice in 2013 and qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2017.
Harry Potter fans may be interested know that before veterinary, Cathy worked with Neopolitan Mastiffs including Hagrid’s companion Fang.
Her home and her family are most important to her and she loves spending time with her sons and her family. Weekends walks and family holidays and time camping make for special times.
She has her gorgeous dogs: Bonnie and Goose, a cat called Tiger, a gecko and a hamster!
Charlie joined the nursing team in 2017 and qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2020. She loves everything wildlife and works closely with the local community aiming to rescue and rehabilitate animals such as hedgehogs and tawny owls.
Her favourite part of her role is looking after animals with long term palliative care needs to give them a quality of life experience for as long as possible.
Outside of work, she enjoys canoeing and adventures. She speaks Welsh and has studied Arabic. She has two lovely schnoodle dogs, Mali and Ed, chickens and an African grey parrot. Charlie also works with her partner Tom who owns a local pet shop specialising in exotic animals.
Born in Cardiff, she likes going home to Wales whenever she can.
