Advanced services
We have invested considerably in our team and kit to make a number of advanced services available to our clients. We also accept referrals from other veterinary practices.
Orthopaedics
Our veterinary team have undertaken advanced training to allow us to perform orthopaedic surgery in our practice. If your pet develops an abnormality involving their skeleton or joints, such as elbow dysplasia, a patella (kneecap) that gets stuck, or a torn cruciate ligament, an orthopaedic procedure may help them.

Ultrasound
We are pleased to be able to offer ultrasound scanning in practice, which is a painless way to look inside your pet’s body to find out what’s going on.

Meet the team
Hi my name is Sach, I was born and raised in London where I often spent my weekends volunteering in reptile dens. I studied in Nottingham where my time was split between Vet School and delivering pizzas for Dominos! I eventually settled down in my favourite part of the UK (Blyth) and I am privileged to have been welcomed into the Vets for Pets team in 2019.
As a vet I understand that you’re the expert when it comes to your pet, I see myself as the specialist in diagnosis and treatment, but working together we can ensure that your little one is always kept in tip-top condition. I love all creatures great and small but hold a special place in my heart for rabbits and reptiles. I also really enjoy internal medicine or any aspects of veterinary medicine that challenges me to put my 'thinking cap' on.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time on the beach with my wife and twin girls. I also love running and often take part in The Great North Run, marathons and other endurance events. I look forward to meeting you all soon!
I am the lady that wears all the hats in the practice. Owner, Nurse, Receptionist, Friend, Confidant and Morale Support. You will see me coming in and out with little Eddie the Jack Russell, our little practice mascot.
I joined the reception team back in 2017 and totally fell in love with the practice. I became a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2021 and since then I have loved every day caring for patients and their owners. It was no question when the opportunity came about to buy the Practice with Sach that I jumped at the opportunity.
I split my time with my lovely 2 boys (3 and 11 months) and 2 cats Maximus and Truly Life is always very busy but I love spending time with my family, hiking and reading when I find the time!
I am from South Africa and I have been working at Vets for Pets North Tyneside for 4 years now. I became a vet because I wanted to help people by helping their animals.
I have a certificate in Emergency Medicine and Surgery. I enjoy Surgery, Endoscopy and Dentals.
I have 2 cats (but I am actually a dog person) and over 60 house plants! My passion outside of work is horses and I am usually at the yard in my free time. I also enjoy reading and various crafts including stained glass work and taxidermy!
I qualified as a Veterinary Surgeon in 2007 and joined the team here in 2024. I am passionate about all aspects of general practice with particular interest in Imaging and Feline Medicine.
I moved to the area in 2012 and fell in love with the North East and it's people and their pets.
I live with my 2 cats Root and Shaw and when I am not at home spending time with them I enjoy walking, bird watching, Photography and singing in a Choir.
I moved over from Ireland in 2025 as a New Graduate Vet. I have loved learning and growing as a Vet meeting all our lovely patients and clients.
I love Dental procedures and I am interested in doing a certificate in dentistry!
I graduated as a Veterinary Surgeon in 2024 and joined the Vets for Pets North Tyneside family in 2025.
Helping animals and being able to heal them makes me very happy. I am particularly interested in the fields of surgery and dermatology.
I am very happy to be working here with such a friendly and supportive team!

It may be cliche, but I truly love my job! I enjoy meeting all the families and their pets - wagging tails, toe beans and scales...I love them all!
As a mother and a pet owner my life is always busy but I wouldn't have it any other way.
When I do find the time for myself I love being outdoors. I also enjoy figure skating, which is still a relatively new hobby of mine.
