Rachel Maier
Practice Owner & Veterinary Surgeon
BVM&S MRCVS, Official Veterinarian (OV), Vet GDP Advisor
Rachel qualified from the University of Edinburgh in 1999 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery and has worked in small animal practice in the south-east of London ever since, apart from a year in 2006 spent teaching Veterinary Medicine at a University in central China. Rachel loves being a vet and enjoys being able to make a difference to the well being of animals and the families they belong to.
Rachel enjoys all aspects of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery and has a wealth of experience gained over the years which, combined with her teaching experience, allows her to support the rest of the team well. Rachel has special interests in ultrasonography, cardiology and exotic animal medicine, and she is very happy to be working with such a capable and caring team here. Outside work, Rachel enjoys spending her free time with her husband, two young children and kitten Lea, swimming and walking.

At home, Hannah has a lurcher, 2 cats, 2 rabbits and 3 chickens! Her favourite part of the job is conducting nurse consults and inpatient care.
Having previously studied Veterinary Nursing at university, she soon decided to study an apprenticeship with us and is now one of our Student Veterinary Nurses.
Rozy's favourite part of the job is seeing sick animals get better, and of course giving them cuddles! At home, Rozy has a pet cat called Bueno, and in her spare time enjoys picnicking and bike rides around London.
Georgia joined us in May 2022 after realising her love for animals, and has her own dog at home, Buddy, who is a husky. She previously worked as a qualified hairdresser before joining us.

Heidi has loved animals for as long as she can remember so working for a veterinary practice has always been a dream for her! Being able to care for and help animals everyday is something that she is truly passionate about. At home she is kept on her toes by her lovely dogs Apollo and Hershey and her little cat Binx, who only make her love for animals grow even stronger.
After working in childcare for many years, Ida decided to pursue her love for animals (especially rabbits!) and joined us in July 2022.
Outside of work, Ida enjoys spending time with her rabbits, Luna and Zenzero and socialising with friends.

Teresa has owned may pets such as dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, rats, mice and lizards! In her spare time, Teresa loves to spend time with her family, out on motorbike with her husband or doing more motorbike mechanic courses.
