Catherine MacPherson

Veterinary Surgeon

Read Catherine MacPherson bio

Hi, I’m Catherine, known to most as Cat. I qualified as a vet from the University of Edinburgh in 2007 and have been working here at Bradford Vets4Pets since July 2018. I love working here and feel very privileged to be allowed to care for so many wonderful patients and to be trusted to do so by such lovely clients alongside a really supportive team.

I am passionate about all aspects of veterinary care but have a certificate in advanced veterinary practice centred around further study in Internal Medicine.

I usually work part-time to allow me to spend time with my husband and care for our 2 children, 2 dogs, cat, and 2 guinea pigs. Life is busy, never dull but I wouldn’t have it any other way!

Greetings, I'm Georgiana. I completed my degree in 2017 in Bucharest. I started as a veterinarian in the UK in a busy first opinion practice, followed by being involved as a casual vet with Vets4Pets and Companion Care from 2021 to 2023. Since February 2024, I have been a member of the Vets4Pets Bradford team.

Soft Tissue Surgery, Ophthalmology, Dentistry, and Diagnostic Imaging are some of my favorite specialties, but I am committed to continuous improvement and development in all aspects of small animal veterinary practice.

I am delighted to have discovered the excellent staff and responsible customers of Vets4Pets Bradford and look forward to the future efforts we will make together to ensure that we treat your pets with professionalism and kindness.

Away from work, I enjoy spending time with my beloved senior Pomeranian cross breed dog, friends, and family. My other hobbies include traveling, art, cycling, badminton and skiing.
