Meet the team
I grew up in Aberdeenshire and studied Sports Coaching at College.
After that, I started my 15 year career in the leisure industry. I began as a lifeguard and I worked my way up to a managerial position. Now I have transferred my skills over to the veterinary profession. I previously work at Inverurie Vets4Pets as Practice Manager before starting at Aberdeen and Bridge of Don. My aim for both practices is to building a great team to help to keep your pets happy and healthy.
In my spare time I walk our dog Murphy and spend quality time with my family.
I am currently waiting to sit my final OSCE practical examinations for qualifying as a registered veterinary nurse, after completion of my course at SRUC. I am very excited to be taking the next step in my career, I hope to continue to see the clients and their pets at the practice and aid in giving your pets the best care we can! I have a keen interest in emergency and critical care, nursing clinics and improving the quality of care in practice for our patients.
Hi my name is Janet. I am looking forward to meeting both you and your pets when you come to visit the Vets4Pets at the Bridge of Don store. I am one of the part time receptionist team that will greet you when you visit or even come for just a look around the practice.
I have worked in the veterinary world for 19 years, first in Kendal which was both small and large animal practice. I then moved to Aberdeen with husband’s job and worked at a local practice for 9 years. Following a little time off, I am ready for a new and exciting adventure at Bridge of Don Vets4Pets and hope to see you soon.Outside work I like walking our dog Sally the Springer spaniel on the beach and in the woods. I also like reading, swimming and gardening. When I lived in Kendal we had hens, a goat, 2 pet lambs, 2 geese and a dog and, if the back door got left open, the hens would be in the kitchen eating the dog’s food. I like all types of animals apart from snakes (so will hide if they come in). Look forward to seeing you all soon.
I am a Client Care Adviser at both Aberdeen and Bridge of Don practices. I have always loved animals so being able to work for Vets4Pets was so exciting for me. I really enjoy being on reception and getting to welcome all pets (and their owners), giving them cuddles before they go in and cuddles afterwards when the vets/nurses make them sad. Working out of both practices means i get to meet lots of new people and i enjoy building relationships with them all to ensure we give the best possible care to their animals. In my spare time i like going for long walks out in the countryside with my families dogs and following more cute animals on facebook and instagram than humans.
I am a part time receptionist at Vets4Pets in Bridge of Don and I can’t wait to meet all of you and your furry little friends. I have just started my introduction to animal care course at Craibstone College. One day I hope to be a trained veterinary nurse but until then I will try my very best to help you and your pets in any way I can J
I love any animal but rats are my all-time favourite!
