Basildon New

Vets4Pets Basildon Extension

New services and facilities coming in December 2022!

We are very excited that Vets4Pets Basildon Hospital is expanding, allowing us to further increase our services and care for the pets of Basildon.

Our new facilities will include hydrotherapy and an MRI scanner. We already offer CT advanced imaging, orthopaedics, laparoscopy, ophthalmology, 24 hour care in our first class hospital wards, and an intensive care unit.

As always, the practice will have team members on site 24/7, if your pet needs emergency care or to stay with us overnight.

Expanding December 2022!

Our extended services include:

Hydrotherapy and MRI Scanner - Coming Soon

Hydrotherapy supports the rehabilitation of patients recovering from surgery, injuries and patients with on-going conditions such as osteoarthritis. Hydrotherapy can also be used to help achieve weight loss and increase fitness.

MRI scanners use magnetic fields and radio waves to create detailed, high quality images that are used to diagnose a huge array of conditions.

CT Scanner

Computerised Tomography (CT) scans provide information that veterinary surgeons can use to help diagnose medical and surgical conditions. CT scanning provides detailed 3-dimensional images of internal organs and bones that cannot be seen by conventional X-rays.

24hr patient & emergency care

We're never closed and have team members on site 24/7 if your pet needs emergency care or to stay with us overnight.

Advanced ultrasound imaging

Generates 2-D moving images of your pet’s internal organs at work.

Radiography including dental x-rays

Digital X ray equipment is available, including dental X-ray. Unlike humans, dogs and cats need to be under general anaesthesia for dental X-rays. Anaesthesia is considered to be a safe procedure and will be performed after a general examination. It is tailored to the individual and your pet is continuously monitored during the dental exam.

Advanced orthopaedic surgery

Advanced surgery that treats injury and disease in the bones, joints, ligaments, muscles and tendons of the body.

The diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases of the eye and visual system.

The treatment and management of heart and some circulatory system conditions.

Exotic Care

Advanced treatment for exotic animals.
