Dr André Escudeiro Vieites
Veterinary Surgeon
PgCert(SAS) MRCVS. Recognised RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Surgery.
Andre came to the UK as a young new graduate with his, now wife, Gema, the Practice Manager, to experience “life in the UK” for a year (…) in 2002.
“Somehow we ended up staying a bit longer”, he says, “it gets busy with 2 children, 2 dogs and 2 and three quarter cats… and 2 Surgeries”. They opened their first Vets4Pets practice in Quinton in August 2011, followed by Selly Oak in 2015.
He has special interest in various Veterinary areas: ultrasound scanning, cardiology…but he has focused above all in Surgery. He obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Small Animal Surgery in 2020 and he is recognised as Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons “Advanced Practioner in Small Animal Surgery”
He is currently working towards an Advanced Certificate in Orthopaedic Surgery.
I arrived to the UK back in 2002 with my today husband and business partner Andre after I finished my qualifications "International Executive Secretary". I just wanted to improve my English but after a wile in the UK I had my children and Vets4Pets offered us the opportunity to open our own practice. Andres, my husband was an experienced Vet and I could run the practice as a Practice Manager. We first opened Quinton Vets4Pets in 2011 and 4 years after we were given the opportunity to open our second practice Selly Oak Vets4Pets.
I have 2 dogs, 2 cats and 2 wonderful children I like to spend the time with.
I graduated from Warsaw Univerity of life science in Poland in 2011 and I have been working at Quinton and Selly Oak Vets4Pets since 2016.
I have a particular interest in feline medicine and soft tissue surgery and I am currently undergoing my feline medicine certificate. I love all my feline patients but my favourite breed is Ragdolls. I have two beautiful Ragdolls at home (Frida and Heidi).
In my free time I love to travel around the world and explore new places, spending time with my family (my husband and my son Alexander), training at the gym and practicing German on Duolingo.
Nadia graduated from Cambridge University in 2012 and joined the team in 2016. Nadia enjoys all aspects of Veterinary Medicine, particularly getting to know her patients and their owners. She has a black cat called Severus and a Shihtu cross called Aberforth. Outside of work she spends as much time as possible with her young family.
I graduated at the University of Santiago de Compostela (Lugo) in 2017.
Following two years of internships at a Veterinary Hospital in Spain I moved to England in 2019 and joined the practice, where I have worked for the past 5 years.
I have a particular interest in surgery, which led me to complete a postgraduate certificate last year.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, painting, and reading. I have a lovely dog called Nut.
I completed my studies at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and am now based in the UK to broaden my knowledge and experience. Growing up on a diary farm, I developed a strong passion for animals and deep appreciation for rural life, which continues to shape my personal and professional journey. I have a potato-loving cow named Nena.
I'm Anna, a veterinarian and recent graduate from Barcelona, passionate about keeping pets happy and healthy.
My labrador is my best friend, and I can't wait to care for all of yours too!
