Meet the team
Hi there, I'm Lisa. I graduated from the university of veterinary medicine in Vienna in 2016 and have worked in a referral clinic back in Germany over the last couple of years. I always had the dream of becoming a vet in the UK so here I am! I am so happy to be part of the wonderful Vets4Pets family. I have a keen interest in small animal internal medicine, ultrasound and emergency care. I cannot wait to meet your fury friends and give them the care they deserve. My two gorgeous cats, Koda and Kenai, decided to take the trip to the UK with me so I spend a lot of time with them having cat cuddles after work. In my free time you can find me wandering along the beach, catching up with friends and family or planning a new adventure - there's so much to discover here!
Hello I'm Cristian! I graduated from University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Cluj Napoca, Romania in 2016 and since I've been working in the UK, in a few small animal practices and one referral hospital. I have an interest in soft tissue surgery but I'm also happy to help with general consultations. When I'm not at work, I like to spend my time with my family and friends.
My name is Sophie. I am the Head Veterinary Nurse here at Blackpool Squires Gate. I have worked here since December 2019 but I have worked for Vets4Pets Group since July 2012. I started my career at our Lytham St Annes branch where I trained to be a Registered Veterinary Nurse. My passions are feline behavior and welfare which I have a certificate in and I am currently doing an emergency and critical care certificate. I have a cheeky Cavalier King Charles called Buddy who I rescued from Easterleigh animal sanctuary in 2017 and we love him to bits!
Hi I’m Tasha one of the veterinary nurses here. I qualified as a registered veterinary nurse in summer 2020 with a passion for critical care and anaesthesia, and have been here at Blackpool Squires Gate Vets4Pets since April 2021. I adopted my cat Millie early 2021, she is 9 years old, she loves sitting on laps and having cuddles. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, drawing, video games and going to the cinema!
Hi I'm Lizzi, I am a veterinary nurse here at Blackpool. I studied at Myserscough College where I completed my nursing degree. I have been with Vets4Pets since April 2017. I like to focus my learning on exotic pets. I have a silly Belgian Malinios named Killua and have had several rats and mice, they hold a special place in my heart!
Hello my name is Emily and I am and Veterinary Nurse. I have been qualified since June 2021, but have been here as a student nurse since January. I am a mother to my amazing daughter. I love both consulting and anaesthesia. Nursing has always been my passion. I’m honoured to be a part of this team, looking after and meeting all of your pets along the way. I have one cat of my own whom I rescued, she came to us with only 1 tooth, but she gets along just fine without the rest!
Hi, I'm Beccy, the practice manager here at Blackpool Squires Gate. I have worked for Vets4pets since September 2019 following 10 years in management with Pets At Home. When the opportunity arose to join the team, I absolutely jumped at the chance!!
My whole world and biggest love is Django, my big slobbery newfie and so therefore most of my spare time is spent grooming and cleaning. I look forward to meeting all our wonderful clients and their beloved pets and if I can be of any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me.
I joined our Preston Vets4Pets during it's opening month of March 2009 whilst I was still teaching full-time (Performing Arts in case you couldn't already tell)! Having being invited by Andrew to take on the role as Practice Manager, I joined the team without hesitation hungry to take on a new challenge and to be closer to the shops! My background is highly varied and I've probably had every job you could think of during my "resting actor" days; based on those experiences I witnessed some diabolical examples of customer service and I always swore to deliver nothing but exceptional customer care. Our priority here at Blackpool Squires Gate Vets4Pets is to make every visit as stress-free and as pleasant as the last and if you ever feel we fall below this standard then please contact me on my personal email at email@example.com. When I'm blessed with a day off, I can often be found stroking, feeding, cleaning and stroking my 10 cats a bit more, playing bingo with the Mother or taking myself off to the latest musical (if not starring in it). I look forward to my next chat with you at reception over a brew - and if you fancy bringing me something a little special, I've taken an extra fancy to Spicy Teriyaki Deli Chips from the Booths store!
Hi I'm Mia! I am the Assistant Practice Manager here, I have worked at Vets4Pets since January 2020. I am usually one of the first faces you will see when coming into our practice! I love meeting all of our new clients and their pets, as well as seeing familiar faces I have known since starting here. I have a golden Cocker Spaniel full of energy named Bonnie. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going out for something to eat and drink, also visiting new walking spots with Bonnie.
Hi there, I’m Debbie. I’m one of the trainee veterinary care assistants at Blackpool Squires Gate Vets4pets, but you’ll also sometimes find me answering your calls and greeting you on reception too. I love the variation in my job role but mostly love helping all the animals that come through our doors, weather for a booster vaccine or giving them some TLC if there with us when they are poorly. I have a Pyrenean mountain dog call Jester and a little domestic shorthair called Annie who adore each other. Outside of work I love long walks with Jester, spending time with friends & family and travelling different scenic spots of the UK. I also enjoy theatre, cinema and outdoor sports. I look forward to seeing you & your lovely pets in practice.
Hi, My name's Claudia-Rose and I've been a Client Care Advisor since August 2019! I have a cat called Gandalf (who is very special as he has wobbly cat syndrome!), another cat called Boromir and 3 snakes Sméagol (who was the resident Lytham clinics snake until I took him to live with me), Smaug and Lurtz. I've always loved working with animals, I studied animal management at college and then went on to do my degree in zoo management. I have travelled to Thailand and studied elephant behaviour and I travelled to the Amazon rainforest! I love meeting you and your pets and giving them lots of attention and cuddles!
Hi my name is Sara. I am a Client Care Advisor here at Blackpool Squires Gate Vets4Pets. I have been working here since September 2021. I have worked in various different places in the past but I have followed my passion to work with animals to get to where I am today. I have a springer spaniel and a border collie at home. I love the variety this role brings and I am here to help in anyway I can.
