My name is Oakleigh, I joined Blackpool Squires Gate Vets4Pets to start my placement for my Veterinary Nursing degree in November 2023 and I am loving every minute of it. I started with a career in horses, but quickly realised my dream job was to be a Veterinary Nurse. I have a little rescue dog at home called Alfie, we love going on adventures together at the weekend. I am looking forward to continuing my nursing here and meeting all your lovely pets in the process.

Hi, I'm Beccy, the practice manager here at Blackpool Squires Gate. I have worked for Vets4pets since September 2019 following 10 years in management with Pets At Home. When the opportunity arose to join the team, I absolutely jumped at the chance!!

My whole world and biggest love is Django, my big slobbery newfie and so therefore most of my spare time is spent grooming and cleaning. I look forward to meeting all our wonderful clients and their beloved pets and if I can be of any assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me.

General Manager

I joined our Preston Vets4Pets during it's opening month of March 2009 whilst I was still teaching full-time (Performing Arts in case you couldn't already tell)! Having being invited by Andrew to take on the role as Practice Manager, I joined the team without hesitation hungry to take on a new challenge and to be closer to the shops! My background is highly varied and I've probably had every job you could think of during my "resting actor" days; based on those experiences I witnessed some diabolical examples of customer service and I always swore to deliver nothing but exceptional customer care. Our priority here at Blackpool Squires Gate Vets4Pets is to make every visit as stress-free and as pleasant as the last and if you ever feel we fall below this standard then please contact me on my personal email at james.rogerson@vets4pets.com. When I'm blessed with a day off, I can often be found stroking, feeding, cleaning and stroking my 10 cats a bit more, playing bingo with the Mother or taking myself off to the latest musical (if not starring in it). I look forward to my next chat with you at reception over a brew - and if you fancy bringing me something a little special, I've taken an extra fancy to Spicy Teriyaki Deli Chips from the Booths store!

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going out for something to eat and drink, also visiting new walking spots with Bonnie.

Hi, my name's Lucy, and I'm a Trainee Veterinary Care Assistant here at Vets4Pets. I have been at this practice for over 2 years now but have been a part of the Vets4Pets family for 6 years. I have a degree in Digital Film Production, and although I absolutely love watching films and can talk about them for hours, it was my ultimate love for animals that brought me here and I have never looked back.
Although you're most likely to find me on the phone at reception, my favourite place to be is on the floor in the waiting room, giving and receiving hugs and kisses to any dogs that want to be friends. I have recently started my training to become a Vet Care Assistant. I'm always eager to learn new things & am looking forward to qualifying so that I can be more hands on with supporting the vets & nurses when needed in the future.I have a beautiful black and white cat of my own at home who loves to snuggle; he's 4 years old, a keen hunter and also a nuisance at 4 in the morning. I'm always looking forward to meeting new faces, and especially new pets, so please feel free to pop by anytime to say hello.

Hi there, I’m Debbie. I’m one of the trainee veterinary care assistants at Blackpool Squires Gate Vets4pets, but you’ll also sometimes find me answering your calls and greeting you on reception too. I love the variation in my job role but mostly love helping all the animals that come through our doors, weather for a booster vaccine or giving them some TLC if there with us when they are poorly. I have a Pyrenean mountain dog call Jester and a little domestic shorthair called Annie who adore each other. Outside of work I love long walks with Jester, spending time with friends & family and travelling different scenic spots of the UK. I also enjoy theatre, cinema and outdoor sports. I look forward to seeing you & your lovely pets in practice.

Hello, my name's Lottie! I have worked at Vets4Pets for a few months but I have been a part of the Pets family for 7 years. I have always enjoyed my time working with animals and chatting with clients about their furry family members. My life outside work is pretty much ruled by my own three rescue fur babies: Essie, my dog who's a survivor from the meat trade, and my two mischief-makers, Thena and Temi, who were just tiny kittens when we rescued them. When they're not causing trouble I enjoy reading, baking and going on country walks. I'm looking forward to my new chapter at Vets4Pets and can't wait to meet you all.

Vets4Pets Blackpool Squires Gate is committed to bringing you affordable, high quality care via a modern, well equipped practice, including a lab, pharmacy, digital x-ray and ultrasound. Plus, on site car parking too!

The friendly team can't wait to meet all of their new clients!
