Hi, I’m Jennifer but everyone calls me Jen and I am one of the new Partners. I grew up locally but went to the Royal Veterinary College in London. Since qualifying in 2014 I have come back up North and now live locally again. Currently I have no pets of my own but enjoy cat sitting when my parents go on holiday. Outside of work I love to go swimming, especially outside and enjoy walking/hiking with friends followed by a good pub meal. I look forward to meeting you and treating your fury companions.

Being a veterinarian has always been a childhood dream of mine and I feel very lucky to be able to do what I love as a job. I have two black cats with my partner called Skitty and Scaredy and they are the best! My other passions are good food, sleeping in, music, and travelling the world.

Hi, I'm Becky, I joined the team here in January 2017 after relocating from Bristol. I am interested in all aspects of small animal veterinary care, working with animals is a real privilege and I enjoy getting to care for your lovely pets every day! In my spare time I enjoy rock climbing and mountaineering, so I am often found dashing round the country to my next weekend adventure!

Hi, my name is Chris and I’m the head veterinary nurse here at Vets4Pets. I have 12 years in practice experience and I qualified in 2010 as a registered veterinary nurse. I did all my training in a veterinary hospital, post qualification I was the sole night nurse for an emergency service so I am experienced with patient care and A&E practice. I live with my two kittens Emmy and Alister, both have had one eye removed as babies so if you see a one eyed cat on someone’s shoulder when you visit, it will probably be one of mine.

Hello, I’m Louise – Bolton’s newly appointed practice Manager. I joined the team as a receptionist in 2015 with qualifications in animal welfare and behaviour. As an ex educational ranger I love all creatures great and small, but have a particular soft spot for reptiles and insects. At one point housing over 60 varieties from giant snails to cockroaches and more. Since joining V4P my menagerie has downsized to two cats and a gang of ninja turtles, though there is a beagle shaped hole in my life waiting to be filled. I just need to convince my partner that we need one too! I look forward to chatting with our clients old and new very soon.

Hi my name is Jan; I am one of the reception team at Bolton Vets4Pets. I have been working at Vets4Pets since 2014. I am fondly referred to as “Mother Bear” of the practice as I tend to mother my colleagues and do my best to look after each and everyone one of them. I have two rescue dogs, Sally a12 year old Diva Retriever, she rules the roost and Layla, a 4 year old English Springer who was so badly treated before she came to me. Her rehabilitation has taken me the 3 years that I have had her to be anywhere near to being the happy contented dog she is today. I also look after my daughter’s nutty cocker spaniels, Joey and Millie during the day and they certainly keep you on your toes. I love my job as every day you meet different people and their pets and everyone has an interesting story to tell but most of all hearing the words thank you and a happy smiling owner with a happy pet is the most rewarding part of the job.

Hello, I’m Caroline one of the receptionists at Bolton Vets4Pets. I joined the family in April 2015, and have been making my way through my ANA (Animal Nursing Assistant) course for the last 12 months. When I’m not on front desk you’ll usually find me at home painting something, outdoors on a long walk or binge watching T.V shows with my husband. I started out here with two male cats, Nim and Roy but it didn’t take long for me to end up with a third addition. Her name is Dot and she was brought to the practice after being fished out of a bin by an RSPCA officer at just a few weeks old. She settled in nicely and the boys are loving having a little sister. My favourite thing about working in the practice has to be the people. Our clients are fantastic and the Puppy and Kitten Cuddles are always a bonus too. Look forward to seeing you soon.

My nickname is “Ju’s brews” as I do like a nice coffee to keep me going being one of the older team members! I love working here with the team, as I have always loved animals and really enjoy meeting our lovely clients and cuddling their pets. My family consists of 7 cats (yes 7!) and a border collie and my human family are a very patient husband and a daughter who is cat crazy like me.
