Meet the team
I qualified from FMV in Lisbon, Portugal in 2002. I have been living and working in the UK for nearly 19 years now. I spent much of my career working in Emergencies and Critical Care. I thoroughly enjoy the general practice setting, the incredible relationship between vet surgeon, client and patient is genuinely rewarding and a huge motivator for me.
I am kept busy outside of work with my two little people who I am very proud of and are full of mischief, fun and energy and they make everything worthwhile! I am kept company by a Buddy my rescue chihuahua and Yoda my little cat. In the small amount of down time I get from the kids I like to walk, sing and when possible travel and get home to Portugal.
I look forward to meeting you and your beloved pets.
I graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Zagreb in 2018. Having grown up on a small farm in the Croatian countryside I was always surrounded by animals which is where my love them began. As a child I would pick up a stray dogs, cats or injured birds and care for them so I knew that helping animals was going to be my calling from an early age. In order to pursue my career I moved from Croatia to the UK soon after my graduation and since then I have been enjoying my work and developing my skills.
Hello, my name is Maddi and I have been a qualified nurse for 5 years. I studied for my BSc Hons Veterinary Nursing with Practice Management in Shropshire at Harper Adams.
I have had experiences working in referral and first Opinion practices. I am particularly interested in cats and exotics. I am currently studying for my certificate in feline nursing!
I have quite the menagerie in my house including a large group of rats, 2 African Pygmy Hedgehogs and two cats! When they aren’t keeping me busy I like to sew, cook vegetarian food and spend time with friends and family.
Hi I'm Lisa,
I’m originally from Wales and moved to Brighton in 2001, where I now live with my lovely rescue cats, a small flock of rescue chickens and two young children to keep me busy.
I have always loved animals and nature, and I’ve had cats all my life. After a 17 year career at the RSPB, I have decided to follow my dream of a more hands on role with animals, and started with the fantastic Vets4Pets team. I have been studying veterinary nursing at college since January 2020, and love my new job as a Student Veterinary Nurse here in Worthing.
I went back to college in 2019 to pursue a career in Veterinary Nursing studying a BSc Veterinary Nursing degree at Middlesex University and completing my in practice training here at Vets4pets Worthing.
I qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2023 and joined the wonderful team at Vets4pets Worthing on a more permanent basis!
My hamsters Reginald and Marigold, who have no sadly both on, inspired me to be brave and push through difficult times and my passion for small furries will always remain. I am also interested in guinea pig welfare and emergency and critical care!
Hi I’m Kate! I have just finished studying Animal Management at Brinsbury College and will be starting my study in Veterinary Nursing which I’m very excited about.
I have lived in Worthing my whole life and have always been animal mad! I have 3 pets – Colby, my very crazy border collie, Twinkle, my diva of a cat and Margret, my very fluffy hamster!
I enjoy going on walks, spending time with my friends and family and watching lots of movies!
Namaste! I'm Paulette and after spending every school holiday possible as a work experience girl in local Worthing veterinary practices I trained in a small animal first opinion and referral hospital and graduated in Veterinary Nursing and Practice Management in 2010. I completed the Certificate of Veterinary Nursing in Emergency and Critical Care in 2019.
I spent the first decade of my career locuming in veterinary clinics and hospitals across the UK, with some head nurse and hospital coordination roles (and a lot of ECC night shifts!) along the way, and have been very fortunate to travel the world with my RVN qualification including Dubai and my motherland, India. My heart belongs to the street dogs of India and before the pandemic my dream opportunity to work full-time with Tree Of Life For Animals (TOLFA) street animal hospital and sanctuary in Rajasthan became available. I headed up the schools education and rabies/neutering research projects there for two years and spent many beautiful but very early dawns counting and health checking street dogs on a scooter in extreme temperatures!
Having previously worked with many of the Vets4Pets team I was already very familiar with the clinic and so was delighted to come on board as a permanent member at the start of 2022. I'm really passionate about inspiring and encouraging our future generations and so I now oversee the training of our Student Veterinary Nurses and I am a Brownie and Guide leader in my spare time. Now that I have returned to my Worthing roots, I hope to volunteer with our local animal charities and maybe even take on a new furry friend...watch this space!
Hello, my name is Hannah and I qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2020 from the Royal Veterinary College in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire.
I enjoy emergency critical care and diagnostic imaging the most, and I have a soft spot for wildlife, having previously worked at a couple of wildlife rescue charities.
I’ve lived in Seaford all my life, where I have an elderly terrier named Meg, and two guinea pigs, Jimmy and Timmy. Outside of work I enjoy going for walks, birdwatching and pottery (although I’m not very good at it!).
Hi, my name is Owen. I love working with animals and my ambition is to become a vet! I have 3 pets at home, a tortoise called Phoebe and two cats, called Imbiss and Roxy. In my spare time I love being in the fresh air at WWT in Arundel and spending time with my family and friends. I have also volunteered at Brent Lodge and WADARS.
I am really enjoying my first job in the veterinary industry as there is always something interesting going on. I enjoy talking to the clients but my favorite part of my job is caring for the patients.
Hi my name is Kim and I’m happily married with three grown up children and five grandchildren with whom I love to spend as much of my spare time with as I can.
I’ve worked in veterinary care for the last eight years and I am so excited to be working for Vets4Pets Worthing.
I have three cats, two dogs, a tortoise and a bearded dragon at home all of which are totally spoiled.
My Dad owns 30 acres of land, which is home to pigs, ducks, chickens, sheep, and a pony , so a lot of my free time is spent helping my Dad, which I love.
Becky will always be part of our work family.
The memory of her will never fade; the sound of her voice or the way she threw her head back slightly when she laughed wholeheartedly; her relentless energy and her fierce love and dedication to her family; her undying smile. Those things will remain with us forever.
Even though her physical absence will continue to cause us unspeakable pain, her spirit will carry on – we will make sure of it by honouring her in every step we take.
We are a team and Becky will always be a part of it.
Hi I’m Rosie and I moved to Worthing from London in 2018 with my two rescue mogs and husband to be closer to family.
I’ve spent the last 15 years working in human medicine as an Ambulance Technician in the event world and run a medical company with my husband when I’m not here.
Frankie and Gigi are our furry family now, I’ve always had a love for cats and am enjoying learning more about other animals here while I decide if I want to retrain as a Veterinary Nurse.
Hello, my name is Mandy. Im pictured here with my lovely rescue dogs. Harley, Jack & Womble. Who I love to spend my time with. I’m from a large Worthing fishing family and I have a son & daughter and a beautiful granddaughter called Lexie.
I have been a veterinary receptionist since April 2006. I love my job and always enjoy meeting everyone who comes to the vets with their gorgeous pets, and love to help them in any way I can.
I am really enjoying working with all the amazing Vets4Pets team. I joined the Worthing practise in October 2018.
Hello my name is Sam. I have been happily married to my husband Pete for 23 years. We have 5 children and15 grandchildren between us, as you can imagine our out of working lives are spending time and having fun with them.
Our other leisure time is spent walking our almost 6 year old rescue dog Morven, her favourite pastime is chasing squirrels in the woods.
I was a veterinary receptionist for 16 years before trying something new, but found out that I missed the animal world and luckily for me Vets4pets employed me. I love working with all the team, meeting clients and their fur babies.
Hiya, my name is Louise and moved to Worthing in 2017 and this is Betty our Boston Terrier.
I worked as a support worker with OLAC and Asylum Seeker Services for 5 years prior to joining Vets4Pets. Going from lone working to working on reception was a massive change but just as rewarding as my previous jobs. Seeing clients fur babies every day is a joy and I am so grateful to be working alongside such a talented and dedicated team, who will go above and beyond to take care of your pets.
My pictures is the day I got my gorgeous rescue dog Griff 8 years ago. I also have a lovely Fluffy cat and and a little hamster.
Leaving school my first job was in a horse racing yard then I have had over 10 years, intermittently due to raising two children, working for various Veterinary practices. My love of animals has been lifelong and I love meeting all the people and animals at Vets4pets.
Hi, I’m Nikki.
I live locally with my lovely family and rescue dog Teddy.
I’ve been a Veterinary receptionist before but it’s been a while!
When I’m not at work, I love country walks, music, gardening and bird watching.
I also love getting out and about in our campervan and visiting friends and family around the country.
It’s great being part of the fantastic team here at Vets4Pets!
I’m Meg, a recently qualified Veterinary Nursing Assistant, but you can also find me on reception at Vets4Pets!
Before joining the veterinary field, I spent 8yrs working as a Therapeutic Support Lead in children’s social care.
Animals have always been a main feature in my life. As a child I’d spend each weekend helping to muck out the stables, and care for the horses, building bug hotels, or pleading with my parents to let me take in each and any stray in sight.
I have a soft spot for all things wildlife, and hope to one day further explore the path of wildlife physio and rehabilitation.
I feel very grateful to be part of the team here, a team that genuinely cares for both its clients and patients alike.
