Meet the team

What is your favourite animal and why?
It's a tough choice! My favourite domestic pet is probably the dog. I love their loyalty and dependency, and their ability to always be happy and excitable to see you even if you have only left the room for a second!
What pets do you have and what are their names?
At the moment I have one cat, an 11 year old Russian Blue called Jack. He's quite the character and certainly has some more doggy characteristics. He much prefers to be indoors and around human company, he even uses the human toilet!
What's the best pet name that you've ever come across?
Droolius Caesar, a very loveable but very slobbery St. Bernard
What's the best aspect of working for Vets4Pets?
I started here in November 2017 after leaving a large 8 vet practice. Initially being sole charge seemed daunting but I absolutely love the clients and their pets that we have here in this lovely community, it's great to see the same faces and to be able to build up a really fab rapport Of course the rest of the team here at Bishopston are great too, which certainly adds to the enjoyment of the job!

What is your favourite animal and why?
My favourite domestic animal would definitely be a dog, because they are loyal, fun and great company. I would love to have loads of dogs if i could.
What pets do you have and what are their names?
I have a border collie cross dog, called Peg. (Her name is Peg because, she had a broken, peg leg when she was a puppy)
Whats the best pet name that you have ever come across?
A springer spaniel called Super Potato

What's the best aspect of working for Vets4Pets?
The lovely team, great clients and all the scrumptious animals. I love working in a small practice and team as you really get to know the people and animals alike!

What is your favourite animal and why?
The Labrador dog. Having had the pleasure of trying to manage two naughty black labs (Orton & Charlie) for 14 years - both who lived by the motto: ‘good is for guide dogs’ - I was left believing the Labrador truly is the king of dogs.
What pets do you have and what are their names?
An adorable rescue Jack Russell Cross, called Toby (pictured here pre-dental treatment!) and a multitude of fishes.
What's the best pet name that you've ever come across?
Wally and Moose, my best friends beautiful chocolate Labradors. And, Bert and Ernie, my other best friends equally beautiful Labradors. There’s a lot of labs in my life.
What's the best aspect of working for Vets4Pets?
That’s easy: the lovely patients, clients and team. Before joining Bishopston Vets4pets, I was a client at the practice; I was always impressed by the care, compassion and professionalism we received by the all the team. So much so, I approached Rosie to ask if I could join them and the rest is history...

What is your favourite animal and why?
Guinea Pigs because they have amazing personalities. They love to be handled and are very communicative. They are great in pairs because they talk to each other and even purr! They are also the ideal pet for children as they are a bit more robust than rabbits and smaller furies and are relatively easy to look after. When they are excited they do a weird little jump that is aptly called ‘pop corning’!
What pets do you have and what are their names?
I have a crazy cat called Pushkin aka ‘The Magnificent Mr Pushkin – All Hail the Tail’. He has an awesome tail like a squirrel and he thinks he’s a Russian Prince. He came from Bristol and Wales Cat Rescue and spent a few days here at work where I fell in love with him and inevitably took him home! He spends his days giving me dodgy looks and everything is on his terms.
What's the best pet name that you've ever come across?I love retro boys names! Gary, Colin and Jason are amazing names!
What's the best aspect of working for Vets4Pets?
Despite Vets4Pets being a huge company, we are a franchise and there aren’t actually that many of us here. We work very hard as a team and thankfully get on really well. As I live locally I also seem to know most of our Bishopston clients so it’s always lovely to have a chat and a fuss of their animals.

What is your favourite animal and why?
My favourite domestic animals are cats because I grew up with them and everything about them is amazing! I also love bears because I used to work with them and they are incredibly beautiful, intelligent and graceful animals.

None at the moment - when I move somewhere bigger I want cats again.
