Meet the team

What is your favourite animal and why?
Its impossible to decide between dogs and cats, having one of each I feel I couldn't decide between them! I love how aloof cats can be so you feel privileged when they decide you are worthy of their attention... but I love how dogs love you unconditionally!
What pets do you have and what are their names?
I have a cat called Mango, and a Lurcher called Luke
What's the best pet name that you've ever come across?
Mud the Springer Spaniel
What's the best aspect of working for Vets4Pets Bishopston?
I love meeting everyone's pets and getting to know them. Being a small practice its nice being able to see the same pets regularly and to see their progress. I also work with the best team of nurses and reception staff!

What is your favourite animal and why?
It's a tough choice! My favourite domestic pet is probably the dog. I love their loyalty and dependency, and their ability to always be happy and excitable to see you even if you have only left the room for a second!
What pets do you have and what are their names?
At the moment I have one cat, an 11 year old Russian Blue called Jack. He's quite the character and certainly has some more doggy characteristics. He much prefers to be indoors and around human company, he even uses the human toilet!
What's the best pet name that you've ever come across?
Droolius Caesar, a very loveable but very slobbery St. Bernard
What's the best aspect of working for Vets4Pets Bishopston?
I started here in November 2017 after leaving a large 8 vet practice. Initially being sole charge seemed daunting but I absolutely love the clients and their pets that we have here in this lovely community, it's great to see the same faces and to be able to build up a really fab rapport Of course the rest of the team here at Bishopston are great too, which certainly adds to the enjoyment of the job!

A friendly and fun team to work with plus a lot of lovely clients who look after their pets well. It's also great working on Gloucester road and being close to home!

What is your favourite animal and why?
Cats - as they are independent in a lot of ways but then when they know you are a cat person they give you all the love in the world. In the veterinary industry, some cats can be labelled as nasty and fractious when they are merely terrified and misunderstood. I have learnt a lot about cat behaviour over the years and this has made me love them even more.

I have one very spoilt cat called Ashalea, who I Adopted from Bristol and Wales Cat Rescue!
