My name is Margarita Kuncheva-Dobreva and I am the JVP at Vets4Pets Longwell Green. I am originally from Bulgaria and graduated from the Trakia University of Veterinary Medicine in Stara Zagora – Bulgaria in 2004. I started working in a small animal practice straight after I qualified and continued to expand my knowledge and skills there for the next 13 years. My main areas of interest are small animal surgery and internal medicine. Helping pets in all shapes and sizes has always been my passion, but I have to admit I have a soft spot for cats! I began my journey with Vets4Pets in 2017 when I moved to London and started work as a Head Veterinary Surgeon in one of the practices; working here naturally led my desire and ambition to open my own practice, continuing a successful cooperation with Vets4Pets alongside my colleague Nikolai Radev here in Bristol. Living in the UK has been rewarding and very enjoyable, I love meeting clients and looking after their pets. I enjoy spending my spare time with my family exploring the great outdoors. I love sports and try to keep a healthy lifestyle, but I do allow myself a nice portion of English fish and chips every now and then.

My name is Nikolay Radev and I am the JVP at Vets4Pets in Bristol Longwell Green. I graduated back in 2006 from the Trakia University in Bulgaria and also studied at a secondary veterinary school four years prior to that. I have done two large animal work experiences during my time at the University. Firstly, I spent 11 months working with large animals in Finland and then I spent 26 months in Morris, Minnesota working with pigs. When I came to the U.K. back in 2006 I initially worked with pigs again for 18 months. I started working as a small animal vet in September 2009 and I found it a lot more rewarding and enjoyable than being a farm vet. I enjoy being a veterinary surgeon as every day is different and brings a new challenge. Outside of work I enjoy the great outdoors, looking after my four year old daughter and taking her to the park when I am at home. I love football and have just started going to the gym.

I started my animal based career in 2008 completing a level 3 distinction diploma in Animal Management, I then developed this further in 2010 to get a BSc Hons degree in Animal Science. I have worked in the veterinary world 2013, starting as a receptionist and as a Nursing Assistant. I later went on to complete my veterinary nurse training. I qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in August 2017, joining the ts4pets team September 2018. I enjoy carrying out nurse clinics and taking care of all of our patients. Outside of work, I like to spend my time visiting family and friends and going out for long walks with my two dogs Maisy (Golden Retriever) and Poppy (Cocker Spaniel). I also enjoy the company of my rescue cat Franklin.

I am originally from Hampshire but moved to Bristol in 2011 to complete my degree in Veterinary Nursing and Bio-veterinary Science at the University of Bristol and loved the city so much I never left! Since graduating in 2015, I have been working in a small animal practice and I am very excited to be working with an amazing team at Vets4Pets in Bristol Longwell Green. I love all aspects of being a vet nurse and enjoy getting to know clients and their pets - my main areas of interest are in surgery/theatre and dentistry. The only pets I have at the moment are four goldfish so I always love coming to work to spend time fussing over everyone's pets! In my spare time I enjoy running, going for walks, going out for meals and visiting my family who have a very cheeky Border Terrier called Tarot.

I have been working in the veterinary industry for over 6 years, and absolutely love it! Since opening the practice, I have loved working with the staff and meeting all of the new clients and their pets. For a long time I have been involved with different animal shelters and thoroughly enjoy helping animals that have been rescued. In my spare time I enjoy making arts and crafts, as well as watching films with my friends. At home, I have a rescue dachshund (sausage dog) called Frank, and a gorgeous bunny called Crackle; often my house is full of other animals as I foster for rescues. I look forward to meeting new clients and cuddling their pets.
