Meet the team

Having qualified as a Vet I now have had over 10 years experience in small animal practice dealing with complex cases. I have a special interest in soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, and I am currently studying for the Certificate in Small Animal Surgery and Orthopaedic to improve my skills and further my knowledge. I have a lovely cat, called Annabelle, who is part of the family.
I love caring for, and working with, animals and have in the past volunteered in Kenya where I looked after both domestic and wild animals.
I feel very lucky to have joined Vets4Pets Buckingham in April 2019. I am loving it here, the team is amazing and I am really excited to now be the owner of this fantastic practice..

Emma started her veterinary nurse career back in 2007. Over the years, she has found a love of consulting. Emma loves meeting new patients and clients and enjoys helping guide them through the ups and downs of pet ownership. Emma has a particular soft spot for our feline friends and has three rescue cats herself that she has acquired through her years of being in practice.
In her spare time, Emma enjoys looking after her furry and feathered companions and runs a small business for small furries. Emma enjoys spending time with her young family of 3 boys, who all same to have the same passion for animals and as good husbandry as their mum.
Emma can't wait to meet the wonderful Buckingham clients and their lovely animals (some she will already have met when she worked here a few years back)!

Olivia joined the team in July 2021 after finishing her degree in Animal Science. She is very excited to be part of the team and is looking forward to meeting and caring for all of you animal companions.
When Olivia is not at work, she spends most of her time with her Labrador, Rocky, her three cats and her chickens who have some superb names - Mishell Eggbama, Margaret Hatcher, Teresa Lay, Hilary Fluff and Leiblie.
Olivia is currently training to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse, and in the far future, would love to be involved in the world of species conservation.

Kirstin started at the practice when it opened back in October 2014. Since then, she has been on quite a journey - starting as a receptionist, qualifying as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2017 and going on to become our Head Veterinary Nurse in 2018.
Kirstin has worked hard to achieve extra skills including Schedule 3 procedures and gaining her Certificate in Emergency and Critical Care in January 2021, and is excited to continue developing her knowledge to benefit her patients.
Kirstin has a particular interest in anaesthesia and surgical nursing and hopes to explore these areas in more depth going forward.

Vanessa joined us at Vets4Pets Buckingham as a Client Care Advisor in August 2019, after 17 years working as a doctor’s receptionist in a local practice. She has swapped 2 legged friends for 4 legged, furry friends.
She enjoys meeting new clients and having cuddles with their pets, especially the new puppies.
In her spare time she loves to walk her adorable white cockapoo called Millie, you will always find her around Bourton Park.
She also loves to spend time with her family and friends and loves to be out in her garden weather permitting.
She is enjoying her new job, meeting clients and their pets and giving a warm welcome to you all.

Cece Carroll
Client Care Advisor
Silver Level (Companion Animal) Accredited Veterinary Receptionist Award
Cece joined the team in November 2020 after 5 years of working in Pets at Home. Cece has always had passion for working with animals within a veterinary practice so she followed her dreams and made the move.
Cece prides herself on her keen interest to be the very best at her job as possible and as a result has completed her Silver Accredited Veterinary Receptionist Award in July 2020 and is looking forward to completing her Gold Award in the near future. She is currently working on her Health and Mental Awareness course and hopes this will give her a bigger insight into the struggles people could be facing on a day to day basis, which is extremely important working in the veterinary industry for both her colleagues and her clients.
Cece enjoys to travel to other countries to learn about new cultures and loves to take her dog, Mya, out for long walks in her spare time.
Cece loves every aspect of her job and hopes to be within the veterinary industry for a long time.

Mary joined the team in November 2020. She has a passion for animal welfare and has a dog called Maple and cat called Smutty. Mary has always had pets and she enjoys nothing more than taking Maple for long walks in the countryside where she lives. Maple is her best friend but her husband, Paul, is the apple of her eye.
Mary has 7 grandchildren who she is very fond of. She looks forward to meeting you and your furbabies!
