Huw graduated from Bristol University in 1996. He completed a Certificate in Small Animal Surgery in 2001 and then went to work in small animal hospital in London as their resident Orthopaedic Surgeon for 5 years, amongst his other duties was to be in charge of treating the orthopaedic problems for the Metropolitan Police Dogs. Huw became a the sole JVP at Companion Care Milton Keynes Vet Surgery in 2007 and has since lead the practice to become the Companion Care Practice of the Year in 2011. At work Huw has a particular interest in surgery and orthopaedics, he also has an interest in minimally invasive surgery (keyhole surgery) for some of the commonly performed operations at the practice. Outside of work Huw is married and has 3 children and enjoys spending times with his family. He is also interested in outdoor pursuits and bushcraft and he also loves playing squash.

Sandra graduated from the University of Pretoria in 2007. Prior to joining Vets4Pets in May 2016, she worked for a few years in Abu Dhabi and then in Essex. She has also worked with a few animal charities in UAE, UK and Morocco during that time. Sandra enjoys all aspects of small general practice, helping owners to keep their animal family healthy and happy. Outside of work, her husband, son, cat and garden keep her constantly occupied.

She qualified in 2015, continuing her passion, and offering her knowledge and love for rabbits in her Bunny Clinics. She has her own 2 cats, and 2 goldfish which are her pride and joy! Her hobbies include keeping up to date with the latest and best Marvel superheroes (never missing one of their movies), and studying rabbits. Rebecca qualified as an RVN nurse in February 2017. Having known she always wanted to work with animals in some way, Rebecca started her passion in 2012 working in the nursing industry. Joining us in March 2018, her wealth of knowledge and consistent positive attitude has added very nicely to our team. Becca always keeps up to date with the latest movies, and loves her horse riding. Her other hobbies include going on long walk with her young border collie, Scout (who keeps her on her toes with his cheeky antics!), and she can't wait to start agility training with him! Claire qualified in Animal Welfare and Management at Moulton College and hopes to finish her Hydrotherapy studies by 2019! She’s worked in various animal care, catering, retail and recruitment companies since 2012, but now has followed her passion, and works as a receptionist at Vets 4 Pets MK, greeting more and more of the brilliant animals and owners that walk through our door with the best smile and positive attitude she can offer. . When she isn’t studying for hydrotherapy, Claire loves the cinema, taking her cat, Keeva, for walks to the forest (ask her if you don’t believe it!), and spending as much time catching up with friends and family. She also has a blue tongued skink whose character could make anyone love reptiles!

Ali’s been our Reception Manager since 2006. She joined the surgery after years working for Nat West and the retail giant Morrisons, and bringing up her children! So she’s got plenty of organisational skills! She loves working at the vet surgery, where every day is different and she is meeting new people and their pets on a regular basis. Ali keeps tropical fish at home and has a pond in her garden. She has a rough collie puppy of 4 months called Indie. She enjoys walking Indie and often meets clients when out walking. Other hobbies are gardening, photography, films and reading.

After over 20 years working for a barber’s, Joe wanted a change of career. This led her to our practice to become one of our caring receptionists. Always coming in with a smile, she makes the most out of welcoming our valued clients, whether they’re on two legs or four. She has a Shih Tzu, Reggie, who loves his cuddles and play time with Jo. Her hobbies include taking part in shabam 3 times a week, and enjoying every moment she has to spend with her Reggie, her husband, and 3 children.
