We are open for essential care only

In line with government guidelines, we are only offering medically essential appointments, so please contact the practice team before travelling. Our opening hours may also vary, so please monitor our webpage to keep up to date with the latest information.

We are taking steps to help keep you and our colleagues safe:

  • If you do need to visit, we ask that only one person per pet comes along, to help reduce the number of people in the waiting area at any one time.
  • Social distancing is crucial at this time. When arriving, you may be required to call ahead and wait to be invited in by a member of our team. You will be informed if this is necessary when you call us to make your appointment.
  • Once inside the practice, we ask that you please respect a two metre distance from our colleagues and other clients.
  • We are only accepting card payments to help minimise contact between you and our colleagues.
  • If you can’t visit the practice and are concerned about your pet’s health, please contact us to discuss available options.

We will continue to share regular updates here and on our Facebook page. We thank you for your patience at this time.

I graduated from the Veterinary Univeristy in Brno, Czech Republic in 2003. After completing an internship in small animal surgery and orthopaedics at the University of Utrecht, Netherlands I developed a special interest in fracture treatment and joint replacement. in 2006 I gained a PhD in small animal dentistry and oral surgery. I am still involved with my home university where I still give lectures as an external specialist for clinical anatomy. In my free time I enjoy running and reading. in 2009 I became a partner at Companion Care Broadstairs with Head Nurse Tineka. I have recently become a partner here at Vets4Pets Canterbury with veterinary surgeon Deividas and head nurse Tineka. We are delighted to become partners at the practice. Our team is dedicated to giving your pets the best care we can. We look forward to welcoming you soon.

I wanted to be a vet since I was 15 years old. I qualified from Lithuanian Veterinary Academy in 2006. I moved to England in 2007 and work as a veterinary surgeon ever since. I joined the team at the Broadstairs surgery in 2012.I have recently become a partner here at Vets4Pets Canterbury with veterinary surgeon Michal and head nurse Tinkea. I have a keen interest in expanding my knowledge in all aspects of small animal general practice but have a particular interest in dermatology. I am also a DEFRA appointed Local Veterinary Inspector (LVI) which enables me to issue small animal passports and help our clients with non-commercial pet animal export. When I am not at work I spend most of my time with my wife and three children. I enjoy DIY (from small project at home to building a large shed or laying a patio), gardening, remote control cars, and fishing. I have a Chihuahua cross breed dog named Leo, a chinchilla named Dusty and a large tropical fresh water tank with fish and shrimp

I graduated in Veterinary Medicine in September 2013 in Spain. After my studies I was awarded with the Leonardo Mobility scholarship and I moved to Manchester for an externship in a referral centre. After finishing my externship I started working as a vet surgeon in a small animal practice in Pembrokeshire. I absolutely loved my time in Wales! I started at Companion Care Canterbury in September 2015 and since then I have enjoyed every day working here. I am enrolled in a postgraduate certificate in Small Animal Internal Medicine and I aim to complete it in July 2017. I have a special interest in internal medicine and feline medicine. I have two crazy Border Collie Cross dogs in Spain, Boira and Kira. I miss them a lot and try to visit at least every 3 months. In my spare time I practice Krav Maga and I am also a Tough Mudder like Angel! I enjoy travelling and discovering new places in England and the rest of the UK.

I joined Companion Care vets in October 2015 and i have loved every moment of it. I am currently a Veterinary Care Assistant, however in the near future my dream is to become a Veterinary Nurse. I am particularly passionate about pharmaceuticals, anatomy and physiology and animal behaviour. When I'm not at work I spend most of my time with my enthusiastic and adorable English Springer Spaniel, Mya. We love to go out visiting family and Mya also loves coming with me to the vet's, she's my shadow.
