Meet the team
I graduated from Liverpool University in 2010 and started my career in mixed animal practice until the arrival of my son. I then settled down to focus on small animal medicine and surgery.
I enjoy spending my spare time with my family and Golden Labrador walking and swimming across the UK.
I graduated from Ankara University in 2018. The following year, I started my PhD on the surgery department and I'm currently at my thesis stage. I spend my spare time travelling and exploring new places in UK. I have a cat called Yorgo who I love to be lazy with. I joined the practice in May and I'm really enjoying being a part of Vets4pets Runcorn team.

Louise started out studying a btec in animal care at Reaseheath College. She then went on to do her veterinary nursing qualification in 2000 and qualified in 2002.
She has since worked at the University of Liverpool, teaching veterinary students in all aspects of veterinary medicine and procedures. She has recently joined us here at Runcorn as a part time member of staff and is looking forward to meeting all the lovely pets that visit the practice.
She enjoys all aspects of vet nursing, but enjoys pharmacy and nurse clinics.
Out of work, Louise keeps busy at home with young son and husband. She enjoys going to the cinema and socialising with friends.
Hi, My name is Susannah McNicholas and I am the Head Veterinary Nurse and Clinical lead at Runcorn Vets 4 Pets.
I have been in practice for over 10 years and qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2015.
I have a keen interest in Canine behaviour and gained an Advanced diploma in this subject to allow me to give the best advice to clients.
I started out as a referral nurse working at Chestergates Veterinary specialists, before realising my passion for first opinion practice.
My main areas of interest include, pain management, behaviour, weight clinics and diabetic clinics.
As a veterinary nurse I love every aspect of helping clients and pets.
I have 2 American bulldogs called Brindie and Kai - they are both rescues and this breed holds a special place in my heart.
I also have 4 cats called, PomPom, Pip, Peanut and Poppet ( named by my daughter )
In my spare time I am kept busy with my daughter. She is a mini Vet in the making!
My hobbies include Pilates, and training my dogs. In my spare time I enjoy family walks and making the most of my beautiful family.
I look forward to meeting you all and helping your precious pets :)
My name is Alex.
I initially started out in the Equine industry after gaining qualifications in Equine Care and Management before developing an interest in Veterinary care. I am a Pet Health Advisor here at Runcorn Vets4Pets.
I have owned and ridden horses for most of my life and currently have a 25 year old horse named Jazz who is living out her well-deserved retirement after competing and working hard. I also have two lively kittens, Loki and Shadow. In Wales, my dad cares for our two other horses, Toby and Rudd and two yellow Labradors, Bailey and Moose.
Outside of work and animals in general, my interests include Criminology, documentaries and watching Formula 1.
Hi!
My name is Heather and I’m one of the RVN's here at Runcorn Vets for Pets.
After completing a diploma in animal management, I then decided to peruse my lifelong dream of becoming a veterinary nurse. I have been in the industry for 7 years now after starting as an auxiliary nurse. I am proud to have graduated as an RVN in 2022. I have worked in first opinion practice as well as emergency referral nursing, I love first opinion because I get the opportunity to spend time with owners and help educate them to provide the best care for our fur babies!
I love my job because no day is the same just as no pets are the same. I love the weird and wonderful that the industry brings and can’t imagine doing anything else.
I am passionate about all things cat related, feline behaviour and geriatric care in particular. I have two cats, iO a rescue ragdoll who keeps me on my toes with feline nutrition and weight management, and Venus my Turkish Angora who led me to be interested in behaviour, she has gone from being a truly anxious cat to proudly prancing around the house. My other interests include anaesthesia, weight management and inpatient care.
If I’m not in work you’ll find me at the gym, hiking or watching a horror movie!
I’m really looking forward to getting to know all of you and your precious fur babies!
Hi, my name is Nerise and I am one of the RVN's here at Vets4Pets.
I have always wanted to be involved with animals since I was young. I decided to do a diploma in animal management and then studied veterinary nursing at university graduating in 2024. I have worked in other practices as part of my degree but this is my first practice as a registered nurse.
I love working in practice, as I am able to meet so many of your pets and I love that everyday is different. I am interested in all areas of nursing. I have two dogs both cockerpoos, named Ryker and Kylo as well as my rabbit Snowy who rules the back garden.
My hobbies include reading, going on walks, meeting with friends and watching live music.
I look forward to meet you all and looking after your little ones!

I have been practice manager here at Runcorn since October 2021 and absolutely love it. No two days are the same and our team is fantastic. I have a little crossbreed dog called Marshall and I spend my spare time watching documentaries and spending time with family and friends :)
