Laura qualified as a vet from the University of Liverpool in 2015, and began her career at Vets4Pets in Liverpool, before spending a few years working at a large veterinary hospital in Liverpool, gaining experience with surgery, emergency care and complex medical cases. Her main interests are in small animal internal medicine, especially feline medicine and geriatric care, but Laura enjoys all aspects of general medicine and surgery. Laura has two beautiful Ragdoll cats called Fennel and Aubergine. In her spare time, Laura enjoys gardening, cycling and playing the piano. Laura moved to Cornwall and joined the team at Penzance Vets4Pets in 2022. She looks forward to meeting you and caring for the pets of Penzance!


Meg loves the outdoors and spends lots of time riding her horse Timmy in local show-jumping competitions. She also loves spending time on the beach and in the sea during the summer and exploring the countryside with her dog Kenny.

Ali is a second year Veterinary Nursing student with a particular interest in geriatric patient care and hospitalised patient care.
Ali is currently looking after our lab equipment running quality control and maintenance. She is completing her diploma in Veterinary Nursing at Duchy College, Rosewarne.
Originally from a small village in the North East of Scotland, Ali completed an honours degree in Marine Biology in 2016 at the University of Aberdeen. In 2019 she made the move to Cornwall along with her husband who is serving in the Royal Navy. Her furry family includes her adorable cat Vera and her cheeky miniature dachshund Rosie.

Laura has been working within clinics for 21 years - 9 years have been with Vets4Pets! Her main interests in Veterinary Nursing are Surgical and Medical Nursing.
Laura lives with her husband and 2 children near Gwithian, along with her 2 dogs, a Hungarian Vizsla called Louis and her Jack Russell called Fynn. She also has 2 horses and some chickens!
Her hobbies include horse riding, kayaking and cycling.

Sharon has been Veterinary Nursing for 21 years now, and can't imagine doing anything else! She finds nursing particularly rewarding and an honour to be able to help owners with their much loved pets.
Sharon lives by the coast with her 2 dogs, and enjoys walking the coastal paths and beaches with her dog companions in her spare time.


Jane is originally from Cheshire and moved to Cornwall 12 years ago. She has two Lhasa Apso's called Dexter and Ellie. Jane spends most of her spare time walking the local countryside with her family and dogs.

Lorna moved to Cornwall over 13 years ago and now that her 2 children are in full time education she has joined us to train as a VCA, In the future she hopes to become a veterinary nurse. Lorna has a cat, 2 dogs and 3 rats. In her spare time she likes to go for walks with her family or sit down and read a good book!

Melanie used to have a career in fitness, but decided to follow her dreams, which was to work with animals. She went back to college to study Animal Management, and since passing the course with Distinction grades, has been working in the Veterinary world.
Melanie lives with her true love - her cat called Raffy! She also has 3 rabbits that keep her busy!
In her spare time, Melanie likes to visit the beaches in Cornwall, and spending time with her family and friends.

Katie is originally from High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire but moved to Penzance just under 6 years ago. She lives with her husband and two girls as well as Red, her Black Labrador plus Custard her ginger tom cat and Crumble her tabby cat.
She loves watches (owning over 70 of them), knitting animals in her spare time and loves people and animals. She is certainly enjoying the cuddles she gets from the animals that come in.
