Meet the team

My name is Terry and I am the owner of Vets4Pets in St Austell, Cornwall. I am very proud of our incredible clinic; we have all the latest equipment including a digital xray machine, ultrasound and so much more! I graduated from Onderstepoort, University of Pretoria in South Africa in 2 and one of my first jobs as a vet (15 years ago!) was here in St Austell. I loved the area so much that it had long been a dream of mine to return. I love how challenging being a vet can be with something different to deal with every day, helping pets and their owners as best I can.

I completed my veterinary degree at the UTAD (Portugal) in December 2014 with a master thesis at NCSU (North Carolina, USA). Soon after, I started working at INEMVET, a Veterinary Hospital in Olhão (Algarve, Portugal). I moved to the UK in February 2017 and on the 1st of March I joined the Vets4Pets team in St. Austell.

Will graduated from the University of Surrey in 2021 and stayed 'up country' for 3 years before taking the plunge to move back home to Cornwall, where he grew up. Will loves diagnostic imaging and surgery and hopes to pursue a post graduate certificate in one of these topics in the near future,(he also loves hedgehogs!) Outside of work, Will and his partner (who is also a vet), are enjoying spending time exploring their new Cornish surroundings and making new memories with family and friends down here.

I grew up in Liskeard and, after graduating from university of Nottingham, moved back home to Cornwall where I have worked as a small animal vet ever since. I currently live near Bodmin with my husband, daughter, dog and cat.
I've always had an interest in managing chronic pain and have been using acupuncture for many years. I have been trained with the Western Veterinary Association of British Veterinary Acupuncturists (ABVA)

I joined the practice in August 2021 after qualifying in 2019. I did a degree in animal health and management before nursing with a bias in diagnostics and laboratory work. Since qualifying, I have completed extra training in surgery and dental care as well as worked in many different setting including first opinion, referral and hospital nursing. I enjoy meeting new patients and their human companions and watching them grow and learn.
I have 2 dogs (Benson and Koweth which means companion in Cornish) and a cat (Albus) at home as well as a strong willed little daughter Called Clementine

I started working at Vets4Pets in 2021 alongside my previous job as a manager at a restaurant. I have always dreamt of working within the animal industry, Vets4Pets St Austell offered me the opportunity to start my nursing career which I will complete in 2025! I am excited to put my love of animals into helping them and their owners. Outside of work I enjoy competing on my horses and looking after my two crazy dogs and cat Tarquin.

I started my journey at Vets 4 Pets St.Austell in March 2024 as a ANA (animal nursing assistant), which has led onto me starting my career as a student Veterinary nurse. I love animals with a passion and my dream has always been to help them, so I am happy to be making that dream come true. At home I have 4 crazy dogs that keeps be very busy outside of work. I also enjoy helping out at my family’s café when I am not walking my dogs or at the gym.

I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 1997 and moved from Cornwall to London, gaining as much varied experience, I spent time working in many different environments, including small sole charge practices, large, charity hospitals, and second opinion Veterinary Referral centres.
In 2003 I returned back home to Cornwall and took a position of Head Nurse in a large busy Veterinary Hospital, where my passion for managing a happy productive team was ignited!! I joined Vets4Pets as Practice Manager in September 2018, where I adopted my 'unique' buddy Sky to join my crazy kitty 'Indie'.

I joined the team in January 2020 after moving to Cornwall from Hampshire. I feel very lucky to be part of the team at Vets4Pets St Austell.
I have worked in the veterinary industry for 6 years, both as a receptionist and a nursing assistant. I love meeting all the 4 legged friends that visit us, and their lovely owners. When I am not at work you will most likely find me exploring with my crazy dog Maisie, or having cuddles with my guinea pigs.

I joined the team in February 2022 after previously working at Pets at Home for 2 years. I would love to pursue a career in Veterinary Nursing eventually and to look after all the furbabies.
When I am not at work, I am often out on long walks with my Labrador 'Peppa' and my German Shepherd 'Koda', or relaxing in the garden with my cat 'Tizzy'.

I joined Vets 4 Pets in November 2023, after working with racehorses for 12 years in the Cotswolds, I soon realised that I was really enjoying the Veterinary side of their care and wished to persue a career in the Veterinary industry. I feel very lucky that the team has allowed me to join them, and really I'm really excited for my new career.
I love meeting all the pets that come in to see us, and meeting their lovely owners. In my spare time, I enjoy lots of walks with my crazy Dachshund Rocco and spending time with my family.
