Meet the team
Miksa has just recently joined our practice after graduating this year. He is following his childhood dream of becoming a vet. He enjoys the variety of everyday vet life and the challenges it brings, especially when it involves exotic animals. In his free time he enjoys hiking, cycling and anything involving outdoor activities.
Registered Veterinary Nurse
Kerry has worked with us at Vets4Pets Burton since October 2015. She has worked in a customer facing role over 25+ years. She has always loved animals which made her decide she wanted to work in the vet industry. When she’s not at work cuddling all the animals, Kerry likes to spend time with her family and friends.
I have been a veterinary receptionist for the past 10 years and joined the team at Vets4Pets in May 2016. I love my job and the challenges it brings. I love all animals, but dogs will always have the edge! I will take any opportunity I can to fuss an older dog or steal a puppy for lots of cuddles! In my spare time I spend as much time as I can with my own dog Tobi, a senior, working cocker spaniel. I also make glittered wine glasses, make origami book folds and sew. I am also passionate about a pop group called Take That! We look forward to seeing you and your pets soon :)
Amanda has worked within customer facing roles for 38 years, from reception to the last 20 years being a facilities manager however after a brief break from work decided to work within an animal based environment and loves it.
Outside work, time is spent with her German Shepherd dogs, horses and cats. Whilst she adores every animal her heart belongs to German Shepherds which Amanda also shows, trains and works.
Veterinary Care Assistant
Client Care Advisor
Vets4Pets Burton is equipped with the latest in technology, which means we can offer your pets the personalised care they need. Our practice is also designed to make your pet’s time with us as comfortable as possible; just like kids don’t always like going to the dentist, we know pets don’t always like going to the vets! Our waiting areas are light and spacious (and with floors that can cope with little accidents) and we also have separate dog and cat wards so your pet can recuperate more comfortably after any treatment.
Our vets will explain all clinical terms so you fully understand what is happening to your pet and you are fully involved in their treatment plan. This also includes being completely transparent in our pricing, so you can make an informed choice on the treatment that you want your pet to receive.
Come and see for yourself!
Emergency coverEven if we are closed, we have your pet covered.
AnaesthesiaGeneral anaesthetic enables us to perform many procedures kindly and safely for your pet.
BehaviouristThe Behaviourist approach to learning studied changes in behaviour that are caused by a person's direct experience of their environment, using the principles of classical and operant conditioning to explain them.
Bereavement SupportMaking the decision to say goodbye to your pet is one of the toughest you’ll ever make. Pets provide us with unconditional love, friendship and comfort, so it is normal to have intense or conflicting emotions when it comes to euthanasia. At Vets4Pets we’re here for you and your pet for every step of your journey together.
