Ann is from Derry, Northern Ireland and qualified as a vet in 2007 from UCD, Dublin. She has lived and worked locally in the Nottingham area for the last 10 years, and cannot wait to meet you all with your pets at Vets4Pets Heanor.

This has been a dream of hers since a very young child and she is looking forward to working as part of a fantastic and caring team.

As a General Practitioner, she really enjoys the daily variety of both medicine and surgery, and believes kindness and empathy to the pets in our care is equally as important when looking after their wellbeing.

Her hobbies include travel, nature, open water swimming and anything involving music.

Her favourite quote is:
In a world where you can be anything, be kind' ❤️🐾

Anna grew up in Suffolk and qualified as a vet from the University of Nottingham in Summer 2022.

Throughout her studies, she developed a particular interest in imaging and soft tissue surgery. However she is excited about exploring all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery, as she starts working with us in her first veterinary job.

Outside of being a Veterinary Surgeon, Anna works part-time as a polo horse trainer and owns two of her own young polo ponies. She is working towards becoming a professional polo player.

Anna's family dog is a Hungarian Vizla named Rodney, but dreams of having her own small furry friend to join her on her adventures soon!
