Dr Ann Chadwick-O'Neill

Veterinary Surgeon, JVP

Ann is from Derry, Northern Ireland and qualified as a vet in 2007 from UCD, Dublin. She has lived and worked locally in the Nottingham area for the last 10 years, and cannot wait to meet you all with your pets at Vets4Pets Heanor.
This has been a dream of hers since a very young child and she is looking forward to working as part of a fantastic and caring team.
As a General Practitioner, she really enjoys the daily variety of both medicine and surgery, and believes kindness and empathy to the pets in our care is equally as important when looking after their wellbeing.
Her hobbies include travel, nature, open water swimming and anything involving music.

Mrs Katy Taylor

Katy qualified in 2004 and has worked locally in the Nottingham and Derby area, in orthopaedic, first opinion and emergency out-of-hours practice. During this time she has gained a wealth of knowledge.
She has a special interest in surgery, anaesthesia and wound management. She has completed the ISFM (International Society of Feline Medicine) Certificate in feline nursing and also has a Certificate in Anaesthesia.
Outside of work she is kept very busy with her 2 children, and she owns a 13yr old rescue cat named Toby, adopted from the Nottingham branch of Cats Protection.
She enjoys being outdoors and walking and is especially fond of the Peak district.
Katy is really looking forward to joining our veterinary team and meeting you all very soon at Vets4pets Heanor! ๐Ÿถ๐Ÿฑ๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿพ

She has recently graduated from Nottingham Trent University and is now a fully qualified RVN!
She has come from a local small animal practice and her interests include surgical and emergency cases and feline behaviour. She is also the practice ambassador for the ISFM (International Society of Feline Medicine) to promote a feline friendly practice. 
At home she is kept busy with her 4 cats - Tilly, Tiny, Oreo and Blaze (pictured) and 1 dog, Pedro.

We are really looking forward to working with her and are sure you will get to meet her at some point in the future ๐Ÿพ

Stacey is from Nottingham, has lived her whole life here, and has worked locally for the last 12 years as a Veterinary Receptionist. She has a really friendly, cheerful personality, and loves the interaction with clients each day, getting to know them and their pets.
At home with Ann, they own (are owned by) a very handsome tabby cat, Rambo, who they adopted from the Nottingham branch of Cats Protection, and is spoiled rotten.
She is really looking forward to working amongst a fantastic team at Heanor Vets4pets, offering a great quality of compassionate care to pets.
Her hobbies include keeping fit, countryside walks, 80s music and socialising with friends.

Mrs Kerry Draper

Kerry is from Ilkeston and has lived and worked in the Nottingham and Derbyshire area all her life.
After over 10 years of working in the financial services industry, she found her true passion for animal welfare through volunteering during this time for the RSPCA. This then progressed to a career change to the Charity Animal welfare sector for the last 3 years. She has worked on numerous outreach cat neutering programmes in collaboration with Cats Protection, which she has a real passion for.
Kerry and her husband adopted their lovely feline boys Eric and Charlie from the RSPCA, whom she adores. They also share their home with Sisco - a cheeky, rescue house bunny.
Kerry is a digital illustrator and is currently working on a fiction book about cats.
Her passions are animals, art, coastal walks and spending time with family and friends.

Welcome to Vets4Pets Heanor! The practice opened its doors in January 2020, and is owned and run by veterinary surgeon, Ann Chadwick-O'Neill. We provide a friendly, personal service for all of your pet's needs and treat our patients the way we would treat our own pets. We know the importance of continuity of care and therefore ensure you see the same vet if possible each time you visit. Our modern practice is fully equipped to look after your pet's every need including a laboratory, pharmacy, digital x-ray and dental x-ray facilities onsite. We also offer health plans which are a great way to spread the cost of routine veterinary treatments. We look forward to meeting you and your pets soon!
