Meet the team
I’m Vikki, Practice Owner and Head Nurse at Vets for Pets Heanor. With over a decade of nursing experience and further training in behaviour, surgery, and anaesthesia, I’m committed to shaping a clinic where high‑quality care and low‑stress handling come first. Building a supportive, positive environment for pets, clients, and the team is at the heart of everything I do.
My partner and I have two dogs, Ned a goofy black lab, who will be running our social media pages! and Wren, a springer spaniel with extra springs! both will be regulars at the clinic to provide cuddles and support to the team.
We also have Kevin and Perry, our two cats, and yes, they are the best of friends, and get up to lots of mischief!
Adding to the mischief are my 7 guinea pigs, and 10 chickens... oh, and we have two children!
Hi, I'm Annica, one of the RVN's here at Heanor Vets for Pets.
I love the variety of nursing- from theatre work and monitoring anaesthetics to helping clients understand their pet's care. My focus is always on keeping patients comfortable and making visits as stress free as possible.
Outside of work, I keep sheep ( including a few characters like Merlot, Hobnob and Twiglet!) and have three dogs, Lola, Bear and Tag, who keep me busy.
I'm known for being organised, practical and always happy to help, especially on busy days!
Hi! I'm Megan!
I graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2024 and since then have been really enjoying the variety of working in first opinion practice. I have two guinea pigs at home named Roland and Daisy, and when I'm not at work, I enjoy both swimming and open water swimming,
I joined the team in Heanor in May, and have loved meeting all the wonderful patients and their owners.

Claire began her career at VetsforPets in Derby and then transferred to her local Heanor practice in 2024.
Claire looks forward to meeting the lovely clients at the Heanor practice and all their wonderful pets.
Outside of work Claire enjoys socialising, long country walks and strength training at her local gym.
I joined Heanor Vets for Pets in March 2026 and love the role as I get to interact with lots of people and their amazing pets.
I am very passionate about animals and their care and have 4 Labradors of my own.
I love going on walks with them, socialising in my spare time and trying to fit in going to the gym.
Hi, Im Natalie, I've worked for Vets for Pets for nearly 5 years, and love meeting all the new clients and their wonderful pets!
I have a beautiful dog at home, named Rabbity, she is the light of my life, and our whole family adores her. My three children love spending time with her, out and about on walks, and when we aren't out together, Rabbity and I enjoy running.
We are a team of local vet professionals, who with our combined years of expertise and experience are here to provide you, and your pets with the very best care.
We care deeply about each and every pet, and their families, and value them as we would our own. Through fear free practice, we pledge to support, protect, and advocate for our patients, whilst maintaining the very highest standards of veterinary care.
