Jordan Hall

Veterinary Surgeon and Practice Owner

Jordan attended The University of Liverpool; getting his degree in Veterinary Science in 2017 and moved to Dorset to start work straight after graduation. He has lived in the area since and worked in several practices, developing his surgical and medical skills. Jordan’s key interest is in exotic animals; happy to deal with a wide range of species including lizards, tortoises, snakes, birds as well as rabbits, guinea pigs and everything in between.

Jordan and Lauren completed the transition to Joint Venture Partners in March 2023; they aim to ensure the practice is driven forward, with patient and client care at the center of progression.

In his spare time Jordan enjoys watching TV series, movies and sports at home on the sofa with cat, Vinnie, paddle boarding around the local coastline with fiancé Lauren, or spending time in the gym.

Lauren Taylor

Registered Veterinary Nurse and Practice Owner

Lauren completed her Veterinary Nursing course at Lynwood School of Veterinary Nursing and qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2019. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary nursing, but has a specific interest in the nursing care, surgery and unique requirements of exotic animals, having worked closely with a huge variety of species during her career so far – including penguins, otters, marmosets, to name but a few!

Lauren became Joint Venture Partner in March 2023 with Jordan; together they aim to ensure the practice puts patient and client care first, enabling owners to give the highest standard of care to their beloved pets.

Lauren likes to keep active in her spare time and often enjoys paddle boarding with fiancé Jordan, or working out at the gym, or can be found in front of the TV cuddling their cat, Vinnie.

Antonio Gomez Marquez

Antonio joined the practice on a permanent basis at the start of June 2025, after a spell with us as a locum. Originally from Spain, Antonio graduated from the University of Cordoba in 2012, moving to the UK in October 2013 and working in a wide range of first opinion and emergency and critical care roles since.

Merissa has worked in the veterinary profession since she was 18 years onld, qualifying as a Registered Veterinary Nurse from Lynwood School of Veterinary Nursing in 2019.

Starting as a locum in May 2022, Merissa took a full time position from August 2022. She has a keen interest in exotic species, as well as surgery in general, and is a clinical coach, helping to inspire and teach the next generation of veterinary nurses.

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with friends and family along with her two dogs - Dave the Labrador and Mila the St. Bernard!

Amanda has worked as a Veterinary Nurse since qualifying in 2001, she has worked in many practices over the years in Surrey and Essex. She joined the Vets4Pets team in Dorchester in September 2022, after having relocated to Dorset.

Abi Julier

Abi comes from a family background filled with all types of animals, from iguanas, birds of prey, farm animals and dogs. She was determined from a young age to pursue a career as a veterinary nurse.

Abi attended the Lynwood School of Veterinary Nursing, qualifying as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2019. Since then she has worked as a nurse in mixed practice, been a night nurse at a referral hospital, as well as some time as a locum nurse, before joining the team in Dorchester in September 2024. Abi particularly enjoys inpatient care and medical nursing, as well as nurse clinics in practice.

Outside of work Abi can be found renovating the family home, running around after the three family dogs - Harry, Theo and Rodney - or looking after her young daughter Lillian. She also has two guinea pigs and a love of horse riding, so there is rarely a dull moment!

Faye Parker

Faye has been working with Dorchester Vets4Pets since July 2018. Previously she worked for a small charity for 3 years, doing everything from animal care to reception tasks. She is so pleased to be able to continue working with animals and loves meeting clients' pets!

Faye studied for just over a year at Sparsholt College in Winchester to achieve a Diploma in Animal Management. As part of this course she got to work with a wide range of animals, but has plenty of experience with pets.

Faye has a little Chihuahua cross at home who runs the house! But what Chihuahua doesn't? In her spare time she enjoys long walks and singing.

Alison Riddle

Alison joined us in June 2022. Her previous jobs saw her in the retail and leisure industry, including several years as the front of house manager at the Bovington Tank Museum.

Alison is married with a grown up son, having grown up on farms she has always had a love for animals, especially cows who have always been lovingly known as 'Moomins' in her family!

Nicola Smith

Receptionist

Nicola is joined the team in Dorchester in March 2024. She graduated with a degree in Animal Science from Bournemouth University in 2009, and has worked with a wide variety of animals, both exotic and domestic, for over 15 years.


Nicola now solely works in an administrative capacity as part of our reception team, but still enjoys working with all types of animals and meeting clients and their beloved pets.

Nicola has a soft spot for elderly cats and currently has 2 rescue cats at home called Bonny & Milo. Milo's favorite place to be is cuddling on Nicola's lap in the evenings.

Jess joined Dorchester Vets4Pets in April 2024. She was born and raised in Weymouth and has always lived and worked in the South Dorset area. From a farming background, Jess' entire life has been spent around animals; she currently rears her own calves on her family's small holding and is enjoying the opportunity to work with animals in a different capacity as part of her role with the Dorchester Vets4Pets team.

In her spare time Jess enjoys exploring new places with friends and family, as well as making sure her special group of calves get the care and attention they need at home on the farm!

The team at Vets4Pets Dorchester, lead by Practice Owners Jordan and Lauren, are committed to bringing you high quality care in a modern, well equipped practice with facilities including; in-house laboratory, digital x-ray and ultrasound.
