Hello and welcome to Hastings Vets4pets! I graduated in Bucharest, Romania in 2009 and moved to the UK in March 2011. During my years of experience I worked for different practices in Kent and South London as a permanent and locum vet, but only Vets4Pets have won my heart. Our aim is to treat your pets and ensure we make that difference in their lives. Our surgery has all the latest technology, such as Ultrasound scanner with Colour Doppler, digital X-Ray unit, ECG, most advanced general anaesthetic monitoring equipment and blood machines, large comfy and separated dog and cat wards. In my spare time I enjoy playing tennis, therefore feel free to invite me for a game.

My name is Otto, and this behind me is Hunor, my personal 24/7 Vet and proud Owner. Hunor decided to move to the lovely Hastings so that I can enjoy swimming in the sea. Hunor is highly thought of amongst his colleagues for both his surgical and medical skills. I am sure that you and your pet will adore him! In our spare time, Hunor and I, go for big walks and visit new places.

I have graduated in Romania in 2019 and before that I was thrilled to do my student practice in Italy and Greece as I very much like to travel and learn about different cultures.

I have always loved animals with all my heart, yet this profession requires more than that and I get very motivated by the challenging part of it. Above all, my constant endeavour is to ensure the health and welfare of the animals commited to my care.

In my spare time I enjoy cooking, watching movies and hiking.

I graduated in 2019 from University of Veterinary Medicine Cluj-Napoca and decided to move to the UK shortly after.

I have a strong interest in treating allergies and internal medicine in general.

Growing up with dogs and cats, I always had a true compassion for animals and wanted to become a vet.

Back home, I have three hyperactive cats and a bouncy Schnauzer.

When I’m not at the practice, I enjoy painting and spending time in the nature or reading a book in one of the Hastings Old Town’s coffee shops.

I have grown up surrounded by lots of pets and have always wanted to have a career with animals. I have previously worked in a pet shop and as an Animal Care Assistant for the RSPCA where I gained my NVQ in Animal Care and Welfare. I enjoy spending time with friends and family and having playtime with my cats or walking my two dogs along the beach.

I have wanted to work with animals since I was a child. I attended Hadlow College where I graduated with an Animal Management degree in 2011. I have previously worked as Animal Care Assistant with the RSPCA and I gained my Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) status through a diploma at Plumpton College.

I have a fiery ginger cat named Wilbur and I hope to rescue more animals in the future.
I like to spend my days off with family and friends

Having graduated university with a Bachelor of Science in Equitation Science, I decided to change and pursue a career with small animals. I have travelled and worked with competition horses in Canada and all around the UK, and have also previously been an ice skating elf at Lapland. My only pets are fish, so be sure that your pets will receive a lot of attention from me, as the fish are not too happy on being cuddled. When I am not working, I am either at the gym, or travelling all around the country attending car shows, seeing friends or tending to my 1987 VW Caddy pick up. I enjoy challenges, I completed Brighton Marathon 2017 and have set myself up to run it again in April 2019!

I loved that so much, I decided to go back to college to study to become a Veterinary Nurse and gained another degree. I love taking on the harder to home animals, at present I have 10 cats and 3 rabbits with a desire to rescue and help rehabilitate many more in the future.

Before I joined the amazing team here at Vets4Pets Hastings, I was in the police and got to face not only human challenges but animal challenges too. I trained with various forces, from the HMRC Prison Service, to the Explosive Dog Section to GP Handling whilst studying for my Degree in Policing and taking all the dog courses I could fit in!
The penny dropped and I realised my real passion was for animals. I set up my own dog business and worked alongside a natural supplement company for horses and dogs/cats. At home I have 2 cats (13 & 14 this year) and took on 2 rescue dogs; the handsome 6 year old boy Tyson (Cane Corse - left) and 7 year old “little legs” Rocky (Working Cocker Spaniel - right).

In my spare time you’ll find me on the beach with my 2 boys, walking the beautiful countryside stopping for a spot of lunch at quaint pubs or helping at the UK Working Doberman Association. I am that “crazy animal lady” who loves a squidge with anything furry!!'

I have always been ‘animal mad’ and had various pets growing up. I have studied Equine and Animal Management at Plumpton College followed by a period of teaching and working with animals. I had the privilege to work with wild horses in Canada and be trained in natural horsemanship. I am now hoping to study Veterinary Nursing Diploma and become a Registered Veterinary Nurse. In my spare time I enjoy being out and about with my dog Oakley, horse riding and going to the gym.

I have worked in retail management for 5 years, but have always dreamed of working with animals. I have grown up with cats and have two very spoilt ones named Django and Haloumi. In my free time I like to go to comic conventions and play video games with my friends. I also have a passion for music and play the electric guitar.

Before joining Vets4Pets Hastings I was a pet shop manager for almost 5 years. I am very much a people person, but I also have a huge passion for animals (specially small fluffies!), so I’m lucky to combine both sides on my everyday job.

In my spare time I love cooking, following speedway, watching football and I love being close to the seaside - so walking along the seafront is where you’ll find me on a nice day.

Previous to joining Vets4Pets Hastings, I worked with horses for 14 years in a busy riding school and livery yard. I have always been an animal lover and it has been my ambition to work in a small animal veterinary practice for a long time, so I was thrilled to have the opportunity to join the lovely team here!

I currently own a horse named Ollie and two rescue cats named Poppy (pictured) and Fonzy.

Outside of work I enjoy taking Ollie out for rides through the countryside and spending time with family and friends.

Vets4Pets Hastings is committed to bringing you affordable, high quality care via a modern, well equipped practice, including a lab, pharmacy, digital x-ray and ultrasound. Plus, on site car parking too!
