Having originally trained in New Zealand, I graduated from Massey University in 1995, and since then, I have gained a wealth of knowledge in small animal practice. I have been practising in the UK since 1998. I have thoroughly enjoyed my career so far, during which time I have developed a passion for canine and feline medicine and therapeutics and a great enthusiasm for working with small furries (rabbits, guinea pigs & hamsters).

I relish the challenge that having my own clinic brings, along with the chance to develop and nurture my fabulous team.

At home, I have a dog named Bali and a rabbit called Lieutenant Dan. When not at work, I enjoy the outdoors, live music, theatre, cinema and travel.

At Vets4Pets Braintree, clients can be assured of receiving the best level of both clinical and customer care. I shall endeavour to instil an atmosphere where they feel welcome, nurtured and respected and where their pets are treated as though they were part of our family.

I qualified from the Veterinary Medicine Faculty of UF, Bulgaria in 2015. I joined the Vets4Pets Braintree team in October 2019 and I am now the Head Veterinary Surgeon.

I enjoy all aspects of veterinary medicine, and have a keen interest in surgery, ophthalmology, oncology, internal medicine and diagnostic imaging.

I enjoy being a general practitioner as it allows me to do a little bit of everything. Every day brings new challenges and I like the unusual and interesting cases that I encounter frequently.

I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2012 and went straight into mixed practice where I got to experience a broad variety of animal work, including assisting a zoo vet.

After returning from travelling I went into small animal practice in Suffolk. I relocated to Essex in 2017, and after having my first child I worked as a locum around the area  for 3 years. I have been a familiar face at Vets4Pets Braintree since 2018 but finally took a permanent part-time position here after having my second child in 2021.

At work I particularly enjoy working as part of a team and have a keen interest in rabbit and geriatric feline medicine.

I am a Labrador lover and at home we currently have my one-in-a-million Amara and her grand-daughter Esther. We also have 3 cats acquired from work over the years and the current rabbit count is 6!

In my spare time I enjoy exploring the country side with my family, travel, baking and board games.

Since childhood, my unwavering love for animals has led me to pursue my dream of becoming a veterinary surgeon.

I proudly earned my degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Liverpool in 2023, where I also completed a degree in Bio-Veterinary Sciences. I thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of my veterinary training, including working with farm animals, horses and exotic species, but I have chosen to start my career working with small animals.

Outside of work, I play the piano, violin, and flute, and enjoy playing in orchestras and musical productions. I also love trying out new sewing projects and exploring the local countryside. At home, I live with two adorable feline friends, Oscar and Tally, who never fail to keep life interesting.

For me, one of the most rewarding aspects of veterinary medicine is seeing the heart-warming relationships between pets and their owners and so I look forward to meeting you and your pets.

As a child I always knew I wanted to work with animals in a veterinary environment. I started my nursing career with Vets4Pets in 2009 as a student veterinary nurse and after much hard work and perseverance, I qualified as a fully registered veterinary nurse in 2015.

I thoroughly enjoyed utilising and advancing my nursing skills working in a busy 24 hour veterinary hospital where I saw many interesting cases, and I have since developed a keen interest in veterinary oncology, geriatric nursing and end of life care. Welcoming new puppies and kittens into the practice is always gratifying to be part of, but I feel caring for our patients at the end of their lives is a hugely important privilege and a particularly rewarding one.

I furthered my managerial skills becoming head nurse at my previous practice, where I enjoyed managing the team and training and supporting the junior colleagues.

I love all species, big or small, fluffy and slobbery, but terriers are my particular favourites!

My parson jack russell Zack keeps me on my toes at home and when I’m outside of work I like to unwind by attending the gym and powerlifting, but also relaxing with friends and following the rugby.

I started my career in 2003 as a kennel assistant in a large East London hospital. I later completed my veterinary nurse training in a general practice in my home town near Epping Forest and qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse from Writtle College in 2009.

Since qualifying I furthered my education by completing a foundation degree in veterinary nursing and business management as well as becoming a certificate holder in canine and feline veterinary nutrition. I have recently completed a second certificate in veterinary nurse consultations.

I have had a varied career over the last twenty years, having worked as a lecturer in a college and working in mixed practices dealing with large animals and wildlife. I have a keen interest in nutrition as well as anaesthesia, having the privilege of anaesthetising a sheep, bearded dragon, puffer fish and lemur to name a few.

When not working my young son and working spaniel keep me on my toes. I am often found outside, either on the agility field or in the playground and park.

I grew up all over California in the United States and was proud to graduate from the Polytechnic University of Pomona as a registered Veterinary Technologist in 2014.

I met my now husband over an online video game in 2008 and after getting married we travelled back to his home country, England in 2018 where I became a registered veterinary nurse with the Royal College in 2019. 

Of all the pets I nurse, cats are my favourite animal. My other love is keeping pet rats at home so unfortunately I enjoy my feline friends solely at work. 

When not busy looking after all of your lovely pets I am still playing that online game at home. I have also exercised my authorship skills and have just completed writing a fantasy-romance novel that I am now editing.

I have always dreamt of a career in the animal industry, as I have always enjoyed being surrounded by animals. I currently own a cat called Alfie, a dog called Ron, crested gecko called Gendry, royal python called Sydney, Hognose snake called Hedwig, rabbits Caramac, Pearl, Baloo and guinea pigs Timon and Pumba. During my free time, I also look after a small holding, where I look after sheep, alpacas, chickens and a Labrador called Rosie. I also enjoy going to the cinema with friends. I look forward to meeting you and your pets.

As a little girl, it was always my dream to work within the veterinary industry… and here I am!

My previous experiences include volunteering at a stables from the age of 11, working a weekend job at a saddlery, volunteering at a vet practice alongside attending college and working at the Animal Unit at Writtle University College.

I have almost completed my level 3 Diploma in work-based animal care and am looking forward to going into Vet Nursing studies in 2023.

My love for animals is unquestionable and I love all things big and small. My current family of pets include my miniature schnauzer Ralph, rescue guinea pigs Prince & Marwin, a budgie named Otis, tropical fish and four Axolotl.

In my spare time, I enjoy surrounding myself with my own animals, horse riding and spending time with friends and family.

I look forward to meeting and caring for all of your furry friends.

I have always been hugely interested in animals from a young age, especially dogs & horses. This passion and love led me to study Equine Therapies at University which I completed in 2018.

Since then, I have gained experience in the customer service industry and am now proud to be part of the Vets4Pets Reception team in Braintree having joined them in February 2022.

Although I currently have no pets I am hugely keen on wire fox terriers & wish to own one myself one day.

When I’m not greeting you & your gorgeous pets at reception, I can be found enjoying weekly exercise classes, socialising in cocktail bars with friends & taking beach strolls with my boyfriend.

I have always known that I wanted to work around animals and I completed my BSc (Hons) in Animal Behaviour in 2013.

I initially began my working life as both a keeper and education coordinator in zoos in Hertfordshire and Essex and was then very fortunate to be accepted onto an internship working with marine mammals in Bermuda. I worked with 7 bottlenose dolphins and a very grumpy sea turtle.

Since then I have spent my time in customer service roles whilst caring for my rescue husky Theo and a mini-lop rabbit called Fudge.

Whilst not at work or home I can be found training in aerial hoop which I’ve done for the past 4 years which keeps me fit and active.

I am very happy to now be part of the Vets4Pets Braintree team and look forward to meeting you and your pets soon.

A career with animals has always been a passion and when I was younger I wanted to be a zoo keeper. I love the country lifestyle and have previously worked on farms from where I then went on to study Animal Care at Writtle college. Dog grooming became my next love and I fully qualified as a dog groomer in 2022. 

When I'm not at Braintree Vets4Pets in my new client care role, I enjoy long country walks with friends and my two Jack Russell terriers. When possible I love to travel, my dream trip would be to visit an elephant sanctuary.
