Client Notice - Deposits
Due to high demand and to help reduce no-shows, from the 2nd November 2026 all appointments require a £20 deposit, unless booked on the same day. This policy allows us to manage our diary effectively and keep appointments available for pets who need us most. The deposit is taken at the time of booking to secure the appointment.
Cancellations
· More than 24 hours’ notice: Your deposit will be refunded in full to the original payment method.
· Less than 24 hours’ notice or missed appointments: Deposits are non-refundable, as we are unlikely to fill the appointment slot at short notice.
We appreciate your understanding. This policy helps us provide timely care during our busiest periods and ensures appointments remain available for the pets who need them most.
Meet the team
Having graduated from Zaragoza University, Spain in 1998 and with over 11 years experience I was eager to run my own vet surgery. I joined Romford Vets for Pets back in 2004 when it was a Companion Care, I love working here and I couldn't quite believe my luck when, nurse, Clare Spinks and I got the opportunity to become partners in the practice. Although it was sad to wave goodbye to Petrus, we’re thoroughly enjoying our new responsibilities. I have a interest in orthopaedics. In my spare time I like running and cycling and bird watching (as does my cat Chirimiri!).
