Sandra Braunig

Sandra Braunig

Practice Owner & Veterinary Surgeon

Sandra was born and raised in North London. She graduated from The Royal Veterinary College in 1997. Sandra started her career in a mixed animal practice in Wales where she stayed a year before deciding to work solely with small animals. She worked at a practice in Surrey for eleven years then moved to a practice in Colchester for three years before realising her dream of opening Ipswich Vets4Pets in 2012.

Amy Madden

Veterinary Surgeon

Amy was born and raised in Ipswich. She qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 2013 and worked in a number of small animal practices in Hertfordshire after coming back home; she joined the Vets4Pets team in January 2018.

Amy particularly enjoys surgery and diagnostic imaging and is working towards a Post Graduate Certificate in Small Animal Surgery.

Ellie was born and raised in Kent. She recently moved to Ipswich with her partner and tabby cat Philip. She join the team in December 2021.

She studied in London at the Royal Veterinary College where she graduated in 2020. ​Her interests include feline behaviour and surgery.

In her spare time she enjoys crochet, yoga and pole fitness.

Lucy was born and raised in Kesgrave, she graduated form the Royal Veterinary College in 2011 with a first class honours degree in Veterinary Nursing. in 2016, Lucy also completed her Masters degree in Clinical Animal Behaviour. She has been with the practice since 2012.

Bonnie has been with us since November 2017 after studying at Otley College and qualifying as a Registered Veterinary Nurse. After coming back from maternity leave in 2021 after having her first baby, Bonnie has joined us as Head Veterinary Nurse as a job share along with one of our other nurses Lauren Staff. Bonnie has a passion for weight clinics and dental care with both dogs and cats.

Lauren was born in Kent and moved to Suffolk as a child. She qualified in 2010 after completing her Veterinary Nurse training at a practice in Ipswich. Lauren has been a locum nurse as various practices around Suffolk. Since 2021 Laura is now Head Veterinary Nurse as a job share alone with one of our other nurses Bonnie Coe. She currently lives in Suffolk with her husband and three young sons.

Sophie was born in Suffolk and qualified as a vet nurse in 2010. Sophie has worked in many practises around Suffolk and also locumed for a year. She currently lives in Suffolk with her husband Will.

Zoe started working at Ipswich Vets4pets in May 2021 after moving here from Southend.
She qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in March 2021.
Zoe has a passion for cats and has two rescue cats of her own. 

Shelbey Elliss

Shelbey joined the team in March 2022 after previously worked as an out-of-hours nurse at another Veterinary practice. 

She qualified in 2019 after studying for her Diploma in Veterinary Nursing at the Central College of Animal Studies.

She have completed the BVNA Oral Care Certificate and hope to undertake the Certificate in Anaesthesia and Analgesia.

Shelbey has always had a keen interest in animals and learning everything about them. She have always grown up with pets, so career surrounded by them was ideal. 

In her spare time she enjoy going for walks with her husky Koda, reading and socialising with friends.


Fleur Kipling

Fleur joined the team in March 2022 when, after two years as a specialist nurse in a referral centre, she found herself missing the wide range of cases and skills used in a general practice setting.

Fleur qualified from the College of Animal Welfare in August 2019, and a career with animals was an obvious choice having been lucky enough to grow up with a number of different family pets over the years.

Fleur enjoys all aspects of nursing, and particularly loves how no day is the same, with every day throwing in a new challenge.

In her spare time, Fleur spends most of her time experimenting in her kitchen, seeing friends and spending time with her cat, Wiggly Worm (pictured above begrudgingly posing for a photograph).


Abigail Chaplin

She has a degree in BSc Animal Science which she studied at the University of Nottingham

She is soon to be starting her masters is in Clinical Animal Behaviour at the University of Lincoln later this year.

 She lives with Lennie her Staffordshire Bull Terrier and Dolly and Fleur her 2 cats.

Hayley was born in Ipswich; she worked for BT for fifteen years. Following a career break to raise her two children, she decided to go to Otley College and complete a level three animal management diploma. Hayley started at Vets4Pets in 2012 as a volunteer and is now employed as an Animal Nursing Assistant.

Stephanie Towler

Stephanie joined us as a receptionist in March 2021 after 16 years in retail.

When the Practice Management role came up in November 2021 she knew it was the right move to make, combining her love of customer service and animals together.  

Stephanie has always had a love for animals from such a young age. She has owned many weird and wonderful pets over the years. She currently has a Korthal Griffon called Nelson, Tabby cat called Mr Digby and 11 ducks. To name a few Quackie Chan, James Pond, Quack Efron and Duck Norris.

In her spare time she spends it with her children and family going on long woodland dog walks.

Kit was born and raised in Ipswich. Kit has been a customer of ours since 2012 with her two very mischievous Bengal cats, Halo Master Chief and Logan Wolverine.
Kit was a legal secretary prior to joining us in 2014 as a receptionist and is also a professional baker/cake decorator.
Since 2018 Kit has been our senior insurance clerk at the practice as well as senior/head receptionist.
Kit lives locally with her young daughter and Fiancé.

Doug joined us in 2021 after a long career in finance and a poor attempt at retiring, He found this delightful Vets4Pets practice where the staff have a great love of caring for their visitors.
In his own time, he enjoys walking (in particularly around golf courses), gardening and being a Grandad.

Megan Kane

Megan joined us in November 2019 after working for Pets at Home since 2017. Previous to this she spent many years working in retail.
Megan was born and raised in Essex but moved to the local area in 2018. 
She has always had a love of animals so decided to rehome a rescue dog called Watson from the Blue cross in 2021.   
In her spare time she enjoys gaming and crocheting (especially lots of bumble bees) which you may discover around the practice. 

Tammy Morton

Tammy is one of the Receptionists at vets4pets. She joined the team in August 2020.
Tammy's background is mainly in retail but her last position was working in the events department at a hotel. Tammy's passion has always been animals and has always wanted to be a vets receptionist, so was very happy when this opportunity arose.
Being a pet lover and looking after her jack russell Max and her cat Sophie she knew a job with animals was for her.
Tammy's world revolves around family life and enjoying dog walks with her very own "Paw Patrol" friends.


Raycheal Gregory

Raycheal joined the team in the middle of 2021.

Raycheal has had a strong interest in working with animals since she was a child, it started with being addicted to the program Animal Hospital!

Raycheal came to us with a mix of Retail and Animal experience.

She has two dogs Zuko and Cookie, a bearded dragon called Galileo Beardio and a selection of tropical fish to keep her busy when she's not at work.


Jasmine Dove

Jasmine Joined us at the start of January 2022 after moving to Suffolk. She previously worked at the Vets4Pets in Redhill so knew she wanted to continue her career working with animals.

Jasmine was born and raised in London and studied Sociology at the University of Exeter.

She has three rescue cats but her biggest dream in life is owning a Golden Retriever.

Sketty spends his time at work in the office supporting the staff wellbeing. 

Since joining us Sketty has gained a qualification in Chief Gravy Bone Inspector.

In his spare time he loves exploring the outdoors and watching local wildlife.
