My name is Katherine and I am the Veterinary Partner at Middlesbrough Vets4Pets.  I opened the practice over 10years ago and have strived to grow our size and service levels ever since.  I am proud of every one of my team members, they are talented passionate caring individuals who do their best every day.  In work, I am involved with the day to day running of the practice, responsible for marketing, processes and recruitment, but I balance this with being present in consultations where I love interacting with my clients and their pets.  I have a passion for performing surgery, I am currently working towards my certificate in small animal surgery which will allow me to offer a vast range of complex surgeries for the benefit of my patients.  Outside of work I enjoy keeping fit by training for triathlons and running about after my 3 sons.  My furry family include Jimmy the Ragdoll x cat & Tigi the Parsons Jack Russell.

I graduated with a Double Degree in Veterinary Medicine & Animal Science from the University of Lleida, Spain.  I worked in Barcelona after qualification before deciding to continue my professional career in the UK.  I joined the Team at Middlesbrough in November 2019.  I enjoy the great variety of cases we see on a daily basis & performing surgical procedures.  My current passion lay with ophthalmology & I hope to advance further in this area in the future.  In my free time I enjoy learning new languages and taking my Chihuahua Yeti for beach walks.

I joined the Middlesbrough Team in March 2016.  My passion is customer service, in particular dealing with pet insurance claims and ensuring clients are aware what financial help is available when it comes to treating their pets.  As the practice grows I am helping more with the administrative side of the practice and am a port of call for all my colleagues, providing a point of contact to assist the smooth running of the business.  I love seeing the amazing variety of dogs that come into the practice and love puppy cuddles.

I'm one of the client care coordinators and I have been working here since June 2018. I look after your customer needs and greet your pets into the practice. I have no pets at home so it's a lovely change coming in to see a different variety of animals every day. One of my favourite things is having puppy cuddles during the week here.
