Hi, my name is Effy and I work as a Veterinary Surgeon here at Newcastle Vets4Pets. Originally from Greece I qualified in 2014 and worked in a variety of small animal practices before coming to the UK in April 2018.
Since coming to the UK I have not been able to have any pets of my own but would love to do so in the future when circumstances allow.
I really enjoy working at Newcastle Vets4Pets with my lovely team and always try to give the best of myself in the care and treatment of the little “furries”.
Hi, my name is Kate and I'm one of the vets at Newcastle Vets4Pets. I qualified from Nottingham University in 2015 and worked in a large, mixed animal practice for three years. After this I locumed at various practices around the North East before taking a permanent job at Newcastle in September.
I love meeting clients and their animals and really enjoy being part of the friendly team at this practice.
I spend as much of my spare time outdoors as possible - cycling, hiking and helping on a friend's farm. One day I hope to have a canine companion to join me!
Hi, my name is Laura and I began working in the veterinary industry in 2012. I qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2015 and since then have gained experience in both primary care and referral practice. I began working at Newcastle Vets4Pets in August 2018 and became the Head Nurse shortly after.
My job role means I get to look after our patients, clients and the Team so no two days are the same. It is very rewarding and Newcastle is a fantastic place to work.
Hi, my name is Harriet and I have a naughty cat called Jasmine who particularly enjoys waking me up at 5 O’clock in the morning.
I began work as a veterinary receptionist in 2009 before deciding I wanted to be a veterinary nurse. I trained at Myerscough College (Preston) qualifying in 2015 before coming to work here at Newcastle Vets4Pets in May 2018. I enjoy working at Vets4Pets as I get to do my dream job with the support of a great team.
Hi I'm Abi, I began working in the Veterinary industry in 2016 and qualified as an RVN in 2018.

I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2017 and came to work at Newcastle Vets4Pets in 2020.
I have a house full of rescue animals which include my 2 cats, 2 budgies and 7 dogs. Recently I have also added a little human into the mix.
Hi, I have worked as Veterinary Care Assistant for over 2 years now having previously worked on Reception.
I love all kinds of animals no matter how big or small, they deserve the best care and love that we can give them.
The best thing about working here at Newcastle Vets4Pets is the clients and staff team - they are all amazing!
Hi, my name is Richard and I joined Newcastle Vets4Pets in 2018 working for the first time in the veterinary world having previously spent 10 years in the private health care sector.
My family home currently has two dogs: Bobbie, a Bearded Collie Cross and Peggy, a Border Collie who both have their crazy moments especially when the post or parcels arrive!
We have now added a pair of gerbils to the mix who can be really noisy at night and a dwarf hamster called Squawker, so called because he was not keen on being handled in his first weeks but has since become very friendly.
It's great to work with an amazing group of people who share a real passion and commitment for animal care and do such a great job each and every day.
Hi, my name is Holly and I have a miniature Schnauzer named Tilly (who is a real softy!) and a Tabby cat called Tiger.
I have worked on reception at Newcastle Vets4Pets since January 2017. I love working with animals and in July 2019 successfully passed my exams to become a fully qualified Dog Groomer.
I love working with the team here at Newcastle Vets4Pets and our regular clients definitely cheer us up on the front desk when they bring their cutie pets to the practice. Getting lots of cuddles and kisses from the dogs makes a great day at work!
Hi, my name is Ashleigh and this is my first time working in animal care having previously worked as a care worker in the health and social care industry and as a Receptionist in a community project.
