Meet the team
Lucy graduated from the Royal Veterinary College and spent her first years in practice at the PDSA in London.
Lucy started work at Vets4Pets in 2017 and became a partner at the Oxford Botley practice in 2019 and the Abingdon practice in 2025. She enjoys all aspects of first opinion practice but especially geriatric medicine, making a difference to our older generation of pets.
Outside of work Lucy is a mother to two young boys as well as her fur babies (4 dogs, 1 cat and 12 chickens). She is a keen baker and a Harry Potter super fan!

I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2012. I worked in multiple referral and first opinion veterinary hospitals across the UK prior to taking the next big step into practice ownership. Since opening Abingdon Vets for Pets in 2016 have opened further practices in Oxford and Newbury and I’m extremely proud of the teams across all three sites.
I split my time between each of the three practices and my clinical areas of interest are intensive care, acute medicine and soft tissue surgery, although I enjoy all aspects of veterinary practice. I have further qualifications in Small Animal Medicine and hold RVCS Advanced Practitioner status. I’m passionate about teaching and we run very successful training programmes for both vets and nurses and believe in developing the next generation of supervets!
Outside of work my two young boys keep me on my toes, while my four dogs run me ragged!
I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2021 with a degree in Veterinary Medicine. I have a particular interest in surgery but love all aspects of veterinary medicine and getting to know all of your pets better! I’m originally from Sheffield and have enjoyed spending my spare time exploring Oxfordshire. I also enjoy paddle boarding and playing netball, recently joining a local team. I look forward to meeting you all in the practice soon!
Hannah has recently joined us from Scotland where she has been working in charity and first opinion small animal practice for 18 years.
I started my journey within the veterinary industry in 2014 and I joined the amazing team at Vets for Pets Abingdon and Oxford in October 2017 as a client care assistant/receptionist and I have enjoyed every second!
I became a registered veterinary nurse in 2019 and have been with the practice on and off since 2017. As a student doing my placements for university, I loved the team and the clients and patients so much that I never left. In my job I love to look after my patients as if they are my own. I'm always happy to give them a cuddle. I have keen interests in exotics, anaesthesia and diagnostic imaging. Outside work I have an interest in baking, gardening and keeping active. At home I have Rosie my crazy springer spaniel and Dusty my very vocal siamese.
I joined Vets for Pets Oxford and Abingdon at the end of 2019 as an animal care assistant with receptionist duties. I became a student veterinary nurse from the beginning of January 2023. I have always loved being able to work with animals and really enjoy learning more with this course to become a registered veterinary nurse at the end of 2025!
Outside of work I love travelling including to Italy and Africa. I also enjoy photography around the local area!
I joined Vets for Pets in July 2022 as a student veterinary nurse for a placement year for my veterinary nursing degree. Once I completed my 1800 hours and NPL I stayed with the team and became a Veterinary Care Assistant and between my University terms I came back to work, so you may have seen me here and there!
I have since rejoined the team as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in August 2025 after graduating from Hartpury University with a First Class BSc (Hons) in Veterinary Nursing. I have a keen interest in anaesthesia and exotic animals, mainly guinea pigs and rabbits, especially after focusing my dissertation on their anaesthesia.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with friends and family going on hikes, swimming, and travelling.
I joined the Abingdon and Oxford Vets for Pets team in December 2023 as a veterinary care assistant, I have always loved animals and have dreamed of working in a veterinary practice. I am now a student veterinary nurse and I started my vet nursing course in September 2025. I am really enjoying it so far and will hopefully be a qualified nurse by the end of 2027!
I joined the Abingdon and Oxford Vets for Pets team in December 2023 as a receptionist. I’ve always had a passion for animals so working here is perfect.
At home I have two cavaliers called Poppy and Elsi, two very spoilt guinea pigs called Lemon and Herbie (named after my favourite Nandos seasoning), a little syrian hamster called Sully and my sisters cat Poncho. They are all very spoilt and sometimes it feels like we live in a zoo!
My interests outside of work include designing tattoos, collecting jellycats, walking my dogs and going on holidays especially near the beach!

I joined the Vets for Pets team as a Receptionist in August 2018 after previously working at Pets at Home in Abingdon for 8 years.
I have always wanted to work with animals and working in a vet practice is such a rewarding job.
My interests outside of work are drawing and being a dog mum to a very spoilt Dalmatian called Demi
I joined the Vets for Pets team as a receptionist in August 2023, I’ve always been an animal lover so working at a vet practice is the perfect place for me! I treat every animal that comes in as if they’re my own, as they all deserve so much love and care. Plus as an added bonus, I get to have lots of cuddles!
I have two mischievous dogs at home who I rescued from Romania called Finn and Dinky. I love their cheeky personalities and wouldn’t change them for the world, although every day after work they have to sniff my clothes so they can smell all the animals I’ve said hello to! (Very annoying).
Away from work I enjoy taking my dogs out for walks and socialising with friends. My dream is to be able to travel more and one day experience an African safari.
I worked for Pets at Home for 15 years before transferring to Vets for Pets in May 2024.
I have owned lots of pets over the years, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, cats, dogs and I currently own Mabel, a very cheeky, working cocker spaniel.
In my own time I love crafting, reading and taking Mabel on long walks!
