Our cancellation and fail to attend policy
We have been experiencing a large increase in clients failing to attend appointments over recent months. Each fail to attend means there is another patient who could have been seen sooner who needed our help. We have had to implement a cancellation and fail to attend policy. This means that you need to contact us before we close the day preceding your appointment if you wish to reschedule. Any failures to attend will incur certain fees. Thank you for your understanding.
Meet the team
Hello, my name is Iva, I am originally from Bulgaria. I have a Masters degree in Veterinary medicine, which I earned in 2011. I come from a pet mad family with both my Dad and Sister also working as Vets and my Mum working as a zoo engineer. After graduating as a Vet I began working with my Dad with small animals and poultries. I have a special interest in Neurology and Veterinary Dentistry. in 2014 I achieved an Honour Code Certificate in 'Fundamentals of Clinical Trials' from Harvard, USA. In January 2015 I achieved a Level 5 Diploma in Veterinary Practice Management at the Institute of Leadership and Management London. For me it's a real privilege to be a vet and to help the patients stay healthy and happy. In my spare time I love to spend time with my family and visit new places.
Hello, I'm Veni! I graduated from University of Forestry, Sofia, Bulgaria in 2013 and got my degree as a Master of Veterinary Medicine. I joined Oxford Cowley Vets4Pets in January 2018 and really enjoy interacting with all the lovely pets and clients we have here.
Being born in a vet family i have always known i'm going to be a vet one day.
I used to work in a veterinary laboratory and was helping my dad who is a vet too.
I enjoy all aspects of companion animal medicine and my specific area of interest is Ophtalmology, Internal medicine and Surgery.
Outside of work i enjoy going out for walks and spending time with my family.
Hi! My name is Ángela and I studied veterinary medicine in Cáceres, Extremadura, Spain.
I’ve known I wanted to be a vet since I was 2 years old, when I used to say I was going to be an “animal doctor”. I also grew up surrounded by pets (at least 3 dogs and a cat!).
During my years in Cáceres I became particularly interested in internal medicine, as I spent 3 years as an intern in that area.
Outside my work place I enjoy outdoors activities, all kinds of sports, music and films.
I graduated from Selcuk University, which is accredited by the European Association of Establishments for Veterinary Education, with a bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine. Following this, I started my Ph.D. in Internal Medicine at Adnan Menderes University. I past my qualification test and now preparing my thesis defense presentation. Although I am interested in hematology, hepatobiliary system, endocrinology, and nephrology, I have clinical experience in diagnostic imaging and surgery. Apart from work, as a former amateur basketball player, I love playing basketball.
Hi, my name is Nick! I used to work as a team leader at Coca-Cola, but my passion for animals has brought me here to Vets4Pets. I work as a VCA and help with managing the practice with my wife Iva. I particularly enjoy assisting the veterinary surgeon in theatre, and I am studying towards a level 2 award in anaesthesia and sedation to further my skills.
I have had animals all my life and I currently own a German shepherd called Rex. I love working with animals and couldn't think of anything more rewarding.
My name is Martin and I am Practice Manager at Oxford Cowley Vets4Pets. I graduated BA in Business Administration and MSc in Human Resources. I`ve decided to join the Team because I have desire for customer service and new challenges.
When I was a child I was dreaming of becoming a vet but the life offered me something else. Now I am a step closer to my childhood dream, for sure is not the same doing the front office job but I still have contact with our patients and I really enjoy working with them. I am taking care of two pets at home so taking care of hundreds more is like a mission and passion.
My name is Alice and I am the Customer Service Manager here at Oxford Cowley Vets4Pets! I live in Oxford with my partner and our beautiful jack russell/dachshund cross, Daisy. Our lovely Daisy suffers from a fair few health issues and this experience with her has helped me to connect with our clients as I understand how difficult it is to see our pets unwell!
I love working at the vets, it is both a very rewarding and very challenging job! I have recently started a Level 2 Certificate in assisting veterinary surgeons in the monitoring of animal patients under anaesthesia and sedation. The certificate has helped me learn so much, and I am looking forward to learning more over the course of the year and beyond! My dream is to one day be a Veterinary Nurse and I happy to have taken the first step on my journey there!
My name is Dean and I am receptionist at Oxford Cowley Vets 4 Pets. I love animals and deciding to join the team wasn’t a difficult decision. I have always worked in customer service oriented positions and I think that the experience that I gained will be beneficial in my current role.
I always had pets in the past and being able to experience their loyalty and unconditional love made me understand how important an animal can be in persons life. Being able to help both pets and owners receiving the best possible care brings me joy and happiness.
My name is Jess and I am a receptionist at Oxford Cowley Vets4Pets! I have previously been working in retail logistics but recently decided to follow my dream and start working in a veterinary practice. I have always had a passion for animals and even ran my own pet sitting business for many years alongside my retail job. One day I would like to train to become a veterinary nurse and I am taking my first steps here in Vets4Pets!
I have recently moved to Oxford with my partner and our very fluffy boy Iggy, an angora lionhead rabbit who I rescued as a baby. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, travelling as much as possible and attending music concerts and festivals.
