Since graduating in 1996 I have worked all over the UK, mainly in Wales, West Yorkshire and the Glasgow area. I started my career in mixed practice treating cattle, sheep, horses, cats and dogs, before moving to a large veterinary referral hospital in Leeds. I have a passion for excellent animal care and customer service which I look forward to bringing to Vets for Pets Linwood. When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my family and days out in the Scottish countryside!

Since qualifying from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in Edinburgh in 2001. I practiced initially as a mixed animal vet in the London suburbs, then as a solely small animal vet where I moved to Glasgow in 2007. I have 2 cats, Erik (13) and Yuki (12) who rule my flat alongside 2 house rabbits Haru and Nuta. I enjoy spending time with my partner and daughter, gardening at my allotment, maintaining and driving my old cars, getting out into the Highlands for some walking and camping, socialising and travelling.

I am currently in my 3rd year of Veterinary Nursing at Edinburgh Napier University and started my placement with Vets for Pets Paisley Phoenix in March 2021. In summer I was employed as a Veterinary Care Assistant and I have recently been employed as a Student Veterinary Nurse.

I enjoy all aspects of the job but I particularly like connecting with the clients and becoming familiar with the animals who regularly come and pay us a visit. I absolutely love the clinical side of veterinary nursing and hope to broaden my knowledge and skills from both my studies and from working here.

At home I have two cats named Leo & Remi and a house rabbit called Binky, who all regularly play and lounge around together.
