I joined the practice in October 2010 as the director. Before becoming the Joint Venture Partner of Vets for Pets Paisley I worked with a mix of large and small animals.

My favourite thing about working in Vets for Pets Paisley is the banter and helping sick animals.

I currently have 8 pets - Rolo & Poppy (dogs), Poppy, Daisy & Tulip (rabbits) and Kasha, Gift & Topper (horses).

Outside of work I enjoy hillwalking with the dogs.

I joined the practice a long, long time ago (2016). I first studied Zoology In Maryland, USA and I qualified with a Bachelors of Science in 2005. I then became a veterinary technician at an emegency practice near Baltimore before I moved to Glasgow and qualified in Veterinary Medicine in 2015.

My favourite thing about the job is meeting all the cats. 

 

At home I have three cats - Hijinx who is 17 and Cinder and Ash who are 17 weeks.

Outside of work I enjoy reading, ballroom dancing and crafts such as crochet.

I joined the practice in August 2024 having recently graduated from The University of Glasgow. Outside of vet school I have previously worked in a pharmacy and as a dog walker.

My favourite thing about the job is that no day is the same, I enjoy building relationships with clients and their pets.

I currently have two rabbits called Blu and Walter and I love them very much.

Outside of work I love going to the gym and being outside. Since finishing University I have taken up running and I am training towards my first half marathon.

I have a first class degree in veterinary biosciences from Glasgow University and I then studied veterinary medicine in Kosice, Slovakia.

I have previously worked at a small animal practice outside Edinburgh.

My favourite part of the job is meeting the pets and speaking with clients.

I currently have a bunny called Stu. Outside of work I enjoy watching films and going to the cinema. I also enjoy cooking/trying new foods and crafting.

I joined the practice in January 2025.

I qualified with honours from the University of Liverpool School of Veterinary Science in 2014 having completed time as an Erasmus scholar at L’école Nationale Vétérinaire d'Alfort in Paris. I began my career as a wildlife vet in the Eastern Cape of South Africa working across many species with a focus on rhino conservation. I have since worked in many small animal practices including the for the PDSA and as a mixed vet on the Isle of Arran.

I have a passion for sustainability. My favourite thing about the job is working with all the different pets that I meet and working toward solutions that work best for their individual families.

I currently have a clydesdale horse called Ben, a cat called Leo and a border terrier called Max.

Outside of work I enjoy walking and travelling from our converted Land Rover camper.

I joined the practice in December 2016.

I qualified as a RVN a very long time ago! I worked at the PDSA for over 20 years before joining Vets for Pets. I am a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers.

My favourite thing about the job is meeting all the lovely pets. I enjoy carrying out nurse consults and ensuring a high level of inpatient care is always maintained.

I currently have 2 dogs, 2 cats 14 (!!) guinea pigs and 7 chickens.

Outside of work I am very interested in pet behaviour and I run puppy classes locally.

I am currently studying physiology and nutrition and was previously a personal trainer. I am also a barista.

My favourite thing about the job is meeting all the lovely wee animals! The staff are also fabulous and friendly. They've been so welcoming.

I currently have two rescue dogs - Darius and Melly.

Outside of work I enjoy taking the dogs to the beach & woods for peace and quiet. I also enjoy a good pub quiz and dinner parties with friends.

My favourite part of the job is looking after the in-patients and aiding them in their recovery.
 
At home I have Bonnie, a 13 year old Rough Collie, and outside of work I enjoy playing and watching sports - Football and F1 in particular

I joined the team in January 2025.

After working with animals for almost a decade in the USA I decided to seek other opportunities overseas and graduated from Edinburgh Napier with a BSc(Hons) in Veterinary Nursing in 2024. I was awarded the Meghan Ambrozevich-Blair prize for  dedication and hard work throughout the course, for
compassion shown to clients & patients, and support of fellow students.

My favourite thing about the job is being able to spend time with in-patients when they are recovering from procedures and being able to meet the community and their pets through nurse consultations.

I have two Shiba Inus called Finnegan and Phoenix.

Outside of work I enjoy hiking with my dogs, wild camping, embroidery and going to gigs.

I originally joined the practice in May 2023, I have since had a short time at another practice and re-joined the team in July 2025.

I studied at SRUC Barony, I gained my BSc in Veterinary Nursing in 2023 and whilst studying I was on placement at Champion Vets in Ibrox.

My favourite thing about the job is monitoring patients under general anaesthetic and then helping them with their recovery.

I have a family dog called Nellie who is a 5 year old chocolate lab.

Outside of work I play hockey for the Kelburn ladies 1st team and also enjoy baking.

I joined the practice in May 2025. 

I have been working in veterinary practices for 7 years, mostly recently I transferred here from my position as an SVN at Vets4Pets Bearsden. I was with the Bearsden team for 4 years.

My favourite thing about the job is that no two days are the same! I enjoy the variety as well as seeing my favourite regular patients. We have a really great supportive team which makes the job that much better, especially during stressful times.

Outside of work I like running and have recently completed the Great Scottish Run half marathon and I had the best time. If I am not running I will probably be at a gig. I also try to go home to Ireland a few times a year too.

I enjoy being the Practice Manager of Vets for Pets Paisley as I have the opportunity to combine both my passion for business management and my love for animals.

My favourite thing about the job is that no two days are ever the same. I enjoy working with all colleagues and their pets as well as interacting with clients new and old.

Outside of work I enjoy catching up with friends, going long walks and competitive horse riding.

I previously worked in accounts/book keeping roles and have been a purchase ledger team leader for Shell oil, gas, marine. I have also worked in sales for a marine company and customer service for a large distribution company - one call could be from Wales, the next from one of the islands!

My favourite thing about the job is meeting new people and their pets!! I love signing people up to care plans.

I currently have a 14.5yr old westie called Cara who is literally my hairy child.

Outside of work I love art & design, knitting, cooking, baking and meeting friends for coffee & cake!!

I have a BSc in Psychology. I have worked in various customer service roles for many years. I grew up on a farm in Finland and worked in a riding school there.

My favourite thing about the job is meeting all of the kittens and puppies, I also enjoy being able to help people get their pets better.

I don't currently have any pets, although I am dreaming of owning a cat or two. I have previously owned cats, dogs and horses.

In my spare time I enjoy going to the movies, baking and spending time with ponies.
