I qualified from Bristol University in 2008. I first started working at Vets for Pets Peterborough in 2013. Later that year I became a practice owner, and we opened our sister practice Vets4Pets Peterborough Bretton. I enjoy all aspects of veterinary medicine but have a particular interest in ultrasound and cardiology.

I have been working at Vets4Pets Bretton since it opened in November 2013. I am lucky to have a job that I look forward to going to and work with a team of friendly, professional people. I like the variety of the job and enjoy meeting clients and their pets. I love animals of any size, shape and temperament and believe they give so much more than they take. I have had many pets over the years, from as small as guinea pigs to as big as horses. I currently have a very old goldfish and two cats - a large tabby called Whiskey Dave and his tiny, black sister Milly (aka innocent Millicent) who is always up to no good! I am married with two grown-up children and a grandson.

My first vivid memory was getting my first cat when I was 5 years old. Since then I have always wanted to work with animals and to help them. I gained my degree in Applied Animal Studies at Northampton in 2015 and dabbled in all different sectors of animal work, some as jobs and some as work experience before settling at Vets4pets in November 2020. I have an old man Tabby cat at home called Simba who is incredibly cuddly. In my spare time I like to read or be outdoors with nature.
